Class action lawsuit filed against DeSantis on behalf of migrants brought to Massachusetts

The organization Lawyers for Civil Rights announced Tuesday that a federal civil rights class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of a class of affected immigrants, including the dozens flown to Martha's Vineyard, and Alianza Americas, a network of migrant-led organizations supporting immigrants across the United State

"The persons who were flown to Martha's Vineyard were deceived, were misinformed," Olea said. "They are asylum seekers. They do not have access to those services."

So this is going to get hairy.

Does anyone know the makeup of the bus of migrants? If the majority were from Venezuela there might be serious problems for Desantis.
If the majority were Mexican maybe not so much.

Venezuelans have temporary asylum seeker status in the US. To me that means they are protected.
Very few Mexicans have been granted aslylum.

Supposedly, the migrants were all homeless when they were recruited to go to Martha's Vinyard.

So, what harm has been done to them, to give them standing to sue?

They were given free meals and free transportation to a location that billed itself as welcoming them.
(Until they actually showed up.)

They were mislead or tricked in going there.

Its being reported they all signed permission slips in multiple languages.

Also as has been said, arent they getting the exact services that are needed?

Bidens actions with similar people deserve a similar legal action.

"Some 50 migrants from Venezuela have filed a class action lawsuit in a Massachusetts state court. In it, they accuse the Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, of abusing them for his own "illegal goals" and "political interests." They are seeking damages."

The whole thing was an embarrassing and inhumane political stunt.

Even if they were lied to, how were they damaged? It was Martha's Vineyard that deported them to a military base. What kind of jobs are they going to find on a military base?

He sent them to a sanctuary state, isn't that what Brandon has been doing for months on end with unaccompanied minors on midnight flights?

I'm sure there were no progressive lawyers involved in "helping" these "abused" migrants file their class action. Free food, free lodging and free transportation, how exactly were they abused? Was Brandon and Hunter on the bus with them?

Here what's going to happen.

The division in this country is solidified, sorry, very little hope for a turn around.

The left is going to keep hunting down and trying to obliterate their competition by any means necessary, and I do mean by ANY MEANS.

Don't think so? No? Just shut up now, you're a distraction without a clue, most likely willfully. Wilful ignorance and apathy are NOT helping.

As the left continues their lawlessness unabated because the Republicans don't have control (WHAT A FKN JOKE!), eventually it's going to become clear that this is a dictatorship by proxy. THERE'S NO FKN WAY Joe Fkn Biden is coordinating ANY of this. The man can barely find his way off stage and another thing, it's not an act, he's fk'd!

This puts The People in a tight spot. The choices folks are going to have to make here shortly are going to be the most important in their families lives.

On TV they said they were happy to be there. It looks like shark lawyers offering huge payouts got to them. I guess the courts will believe a bunch of criminals who broke the law to get here in the first place if it will benefit the Dems in the primaries.
Talk about taking advantage of people!

Im pretty sure i heard Desantis say that the migrants signed a consent form. So im guessing Desantis knew this would be a tactic the dems would play.

Lets face it it. I doubt the migrants thought of this themselves. Someone has planted the seed to take out he competion.

Well attempt to at least.

So uh
About those migrants getting moved…….

The Biden administration has been quietly flying underage illegal immigrants from Texas to New York late at night for more than two months in an effort to resettle the tens of thousands of migrants taken into custody at the border in recent weeks, according to a new report.

Tell me again how bad Desantis is…….

The migrants were lured with promises that turned out to be lies upon arrival - such as the prospect of housing and jobs, according to the migrants and Alianza Americas, an organization that advocates for immigrants' rights.

They were promised free chit in exchange for....nothing but their race?

Interesting.
