So finally got around to checking out some of Les Claypools new material.

Figured I'd post this song, as not only is it a fairly decent "epic", there is a nice part of the video around 6:24 when they list a variety of Conspiracies.

I figured I'd post the lyrics and video here for our enjoyment.

What do you guys think? Does Les take any of these seriously? Or is he poking fun?

It sounds like the old band, les, ler and herb. Ler has long been one of my favorite guitarists. His lines are always fresh and unique. Epic is the right term, longest song by Primus I can think of but that's ok. I had to laugh at many of the conspiracies mentioned, I think cow dung is my favorite.

Ha! I started playing the bass guitar at 14 due to Les Claypool! Hands down the best bassist of all time!

At 8:20 in the video it says: “She died of a Covid booster shot”.

Damn, this video is on par with I Pet Goat. So much imagery and symbolism. Down the Claypool rabbit hole we go……

I've always loved Claypool.
This song makes me question that.
It sounds like he's Anti conspiracy, pro Fauci.

A fine line is a small difference.
Comparing flat earth with questions makes zero sense dude.

Sorry, but he's one of the best bass players alive.
Also one of the best jam bands alive.
He's also not new to conspiracy songs, like this one.

I've recently gotten his Four Foot Shack album, I actually like it quite a bit.

Makes me wanna go fishing. Talk about foot stomping.

Les is definitely one of my favorite living artists, he's always had strange ideas and never ceased to amaze me with his story telling through music. Definitely an inspiration.

Were you unaware that the phrase "Primus Sucks" is actually a term of affection?

On Comedy Central next week, they're going to air the South Park 25th Anniversary Concert with musical performances from Trey Parker & Matt Stone, Primus, and Ween. It takes place at Red Rocks Amphiteatre in Colorado on August 10, 2022.

It's gonna be on Comedy Central at 10 PM on August 13.

I dunno man, I just listened to the The Claypool Lennon Delirium: Monolith of Phobos album released in 2016 with Sean Lennon. I have it on vinyl, with a decent system, but uh, this album kind of blew me away.

I would suggest a dedicated listening session to anyone who hasn't heard it. A little chemical assistance may help but is not required!
