YouTuber Coyote Peterson claiming that he has found a large primate skull in BC credible?

Maybe, there was a traveling circus that had a gorilla escape, it died and that is the skull of the runaway....

Seems like a practical joke to me, that tweet doesn't sound like something Coyote would seriously write. And forgive my ignorance, but why is finding a large primate skull in that part of the world so strange?

some smaller primates are thought to have lived in north america millions of years ago during the Eocene Epoch, but most primates in the americas are found in central and south america.

and as far as i know no great ape fossils or newer remains have never been found in north america.

We’ve all heard many stories of rich MOFO’s buying ridiculous pets when they are babies. Only to dump them in the wild when they get too big to manage.

Why can’t this be the case here?

If it's a real skull is easy enough to tell, DNA should be able to tell if it's a known primate and if it is a gorilla, and it's real did somebody plant a real gorilla skull? why would Coyote derail his own career? didn't he just get a TVShow? I'm thinking he will be talking about the endangered Gorilla and use this as PR

Interesting. As others have said, pictures don’t mean much anymore. Still, it’s best to wait for more to come out on this. Is squatch dna the same as gorilla dna? We can see some differences, but I think upon examination by a primate guy it will be clear to him if it’s a fake.

Coyote's fake acting with his sting videos really burned up a lot of his credibility. The series was cool but his over the top screams of pain, etc started to get a bit comical.

Most discriminations say it doesn't look like s gorilla, Sasquatch that is. So I don't know what he is implying.

Looks like a Baboon skull to me , the upper and lower jaw seem to extended to be a Gorilla.

BTW with Boris resigning the PM job is open in the UK, with your skills of deduction, and deft use of prose you seem infinitely qualified perhaps you should have a go at it.

Likely a scam, but, if genuine he should reveal to the proper authorities exactly where he found it as finding just a skull on it's own is very very rare, there must be other smaller bones with it.

If genuine a DNA examination can determine where the animal spent it's growing years and maybe it's later years.

Why would he knowingly bring a fake skull with him and make it look like it was buried? Im more interested in if he's trying to pull a fast one. But its puzzling because that would ruin any cred he has.

Like was said already there should be more bones, if real then where's the body?

yes. but pretty big for a baboon. they have serious canine teeth too. so it would be easy to tell if it was.

just look at the nasal cavity and snout.
but the brow ridges don't fit with the rest of the skull.

maybe a bear with osteosarcoma?
