Donbas revolution war = modern American revolution

Back in the 1700s France fought a war with Britain to help America secede from Britain. Fast forward 200 years, the same scenario happens in Donbas where Russia fight a war with Ukraine to help Donbas secede from Ukraine. In 2014 Kiev rioters ousted president Yanukovych who is from Donbas. In response, Donbas declared independence from Ukraine.

Yea it's exactly the same....

Guess it's not similar to any other certain civil wars on the North American continent...

But granted, looking at todays USA maybe they just should have rolled over and let it happen.

So, if a Mexican drug baron takes over part of Texas and declares independence, kidnapping, torturing and killing any who oppose him (and shooting down a foreign jet airliner in the process) because he didn;t vote for the US president, how would you feel?

What if the Mexican army then supports his attempts to make southern Texas an independent state?

Whose side are you on when he conducts ethic cleansing as he takes over part of Texas, sending all English speakers to camps in the far south, and fires missiles at shopping malls in Houston?
