Are there any decent non-political movies left today to see?

I have seen nary a movie (with a precious few exceptions) in the last few years that didn't leave me feeling like I'd just wasted a couple of hours of my life, political or not.

This is why I especially enjoy old film-noir movies. You can find them by the dozens on Bitchute. Somebody actually has an entire channel dedicated to them.

Do yourself a favor and dig up some old film noir. Can't go wrong.

I love old movies, love the cheesy old scifi/horror flicks. But I miss the old-school movie theater experience. I haven't been in years.

Remember the ones like Dr. Zhivago, Jeremiah Johnson, and others that had an "Overture" at the beginning and a long intermission piece?

Here's a playlist of old film noir movies. Knock yourselves out!

Why you found it redeeming. Then end was a cop out.

The Northman was good
Topgun
Nightmare Alley
Malignant

Nightmare alley should have been a 25 minute tales from the dark side. My balls could come up with a better movie idea.

but then you spend the next 18 years hearing the same story O.o

And what about "The fifth element" and "Jurassic world dominion" ?

The fifth element rocked!

I also liked the surreal imagery of A Scanner Darkly..

If you haven't seen the director's other work, Waking Life is one of my favorite movies ever. It's the same style as A Scanner Darkly but more of an artsy cerebral movie. It's delightful and well worth a watch.
