From the same Bill Clinton who had just recently admitted that NATO expansion and pushing it further eastward was the decision of his admin and was a right decision.

Now Says that Roe Wade decision is putting our democracy at risk?
Never mind that NATO expansion and pushing it further eastward near Russia's backyard is putting the world on a collision for a dangerous conflict with Russia.

But on the Supreme Court’s Roe Wade is a much worse threat to democracy.

Bill Clinton Supreme Court’s Roe Wade decision has put our democracy at risk

Well , isn’t one of their hero’s that said, “Democracy is the road to socialism” …some Marx bro? So he’ s not wrong. You have to understand who the ‘our’ he is talking about.

They keep saying this word, "democracy"...

I do not think they understand what it means to others when we hear it from them.

All I hear is "Our communism" is at risk.

Or, "Our Socialism" is at risk.

Or, "Our New World Order" is at risk.

Or, "Our Fourth Reich" is at risk.

Maybe I should have my ears looked at but it's very clear what I'm hearing.🤷🏾‍♂️

Did I miss a memo? I thought this trial just meant it was up to the states to decide instead of forcing all states to comply with a given authority

What democracy?
The United States is a republic.

Democracy is majority rule over the minority which is why America is a constitutional republic.

? democracy at risk ?... what a load of hubris....

the SCOTUS overturning of Roe-Wade was orchestrated to get voters out or the 2022 midterm election cycle

... the nebulous connection is that keeping democrats in the majority in both House & Senate is the only way to 'Save the USA' ... thus patching up all the major flubs the democratsocialists have created in the lst 24 months

4 months ago the neozi-democrats were in freefall & POTUS was 1 foot in the grave & sinking fast. ..NOW LOOK !

Is it just me, or does everything that does not go the way the left wants it to "put our democracy at risk" these days?

“This decision puts partisanship ahead of precedent, ideology ahead of evidence, and the power of a small minority ahead of the clear will of the people,” Clinton

This from a pary who's greatest accomplishments over the last 5 years has been 3 unsuccessful attempts to remove a duly elected president on the "most narrow grounds in history" and fraudulent evidence. And are currently trying to denigh ballot access to their political opponents over one of the less destructive protests in the last year.

Partisanship ahead of democracy is the Democrat MO these days.

They are going to that well too often. If they don't watch out they are going yo make "our democracy is at risk" as boring as accusations of racism.

I always had seen the US as a republic not a democratic.
Even the Modern Greece currently is not very democratic when they cant challenge the EU.

What the SC did is actually the other way in forcing Congress to actually do their job. In the past the SC has made incorrect decisions based on pollical motivation, and not the law. We should not let the SC use their BAM hammer outside of their limited authority of Constitution issues. I said in another post that people are upset over this, but what if the SC decided that consensual sex starts one day past puberty, BAM! Not very good, but the high court has spoken!

I have said already that both sides are using the statement "States should make their own decision" as either good or bad, but it is actually an incomplete statement, and it should read "States should make their own decision if Congress doesn't get off their asses and do it first". Congress can make it a federal law that no abortions past 12 weeks, like EU, outside of a few conditions, done deal. They had 50 years to do that. If gay marriage is overturn who here disagrees that a bipartisan bill would not appear in congress within a day and approved by day two? Better yet, do it now, so if/when it is overturned as outside of the SC scope of authority it is already in place.

Its all stupid as Congress drives this crazy train and people will riot and kill for nothing.

States should make their own decision"

I agree with you on this part and each states should decide what people decide on their medical decisions let the people decide.

Its not up to the federal government.

Its up to Congress or the states. You vote your reps to Congress to represent you, when Congress makes a bill you basically voted on it too. That is their job to represent you, if they are not then vote someone else in that will.
