Thanks for the response. As I posted it’s a satirical thread. Folks don’t need to be afraid of the religious satire. That’s all it is. Indeed, we can trace our religion of ufology to this date.

BTW, you might want to try Hoopla digital to save buying ufo books, they actually have a lot of UFO eBooks and audiobooks. They have practically all of Redfern’s books. All you need is a local library card if you’re in the US.

The only reason my family has not moved to Canada (we love British Columbia)
is that we are too old, and don't have the skill sets the imigration service is
lookiing for. We simply can't move there.

It wouldn't hurt to make a general statement.

I have no problem with anyone whatsoever making any number of
extraordinary claims.

I don't heckle anyone for doing that.

At a minimum, I generally will concur that the person making such
claims believes their own contention... unless it is shown that they
are just trolling, etc.

We all experience things that we cannot prove to another.. it's been
happening since we climbed down from the trees.

It's nice if the person having the experience can provide sufficient
details to show that further investigaton is warranted..

Now when it comes to blobs of light in the sky.. I'm not saying that
SOMEDAY there might not be one that actually is an alien craft..

but i'm not aware of any such picture, on ATS or off that has ever
been compelling, and the usual team of clear-thinking individuals
on ATS can often identify common perceptual or image-manipulation
issues..

I know that in particular I rile up some folks... religous people and
alcoholics (a fair crossover exists there) often don't like me... I've
had a few death threats over the years..

But I fully and completel respect anyone who isn't just caught up
in 'group think' and thinks they have soemthing to contribute.

I know it might seem to some, that I'm critical of others 'wacky
beliefs' but give mine a pass.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I agonized about my own 'overwhelming experience' for years..
I didn't want to be 'one of those crazy people on ATS'.

But it all held up.. was verified as having markers putting it
in a class of "oz encounters' by a number of independent
scholars.

Now.. 'my experience' may have only been 'for me'.

That's what I often say to experiencers.. yes... you may
have experienced something unusual.. but that doesn't
mean you've got something of world-wide import.. it
may well have been just for you.

And i did, after 5 years come to some conclusions of
a personal nature.

That's why I don't urge everyone to 'summon black triangle
UfOs' and don't wave around some manifesto.

I actually show a great deal of tolerance and respect on ATS,
but that doesns't mean I have to give a pass to toxic culural
norms or fuzzy blobs of light in photos.

I hope that clarifies to anyone who cares... and this is not
a 'backdoor comment to TG.. it's something I've thought
about clarifying for some time...

I know how my critical dissection can be viewed.. im' not
without self-awareness.

I just want 'the truth' to come out, and to get to that,
we all need to 'dispel ignorance', incuding our own.

I try my best.. but if I fail in the eyes of various people
I highly annoy.. well... feel free to dislike me.. and don't
assume I dislike you.. I generally don't dislike people..

life is challenging for one and all.

Look, no problem, I understand.

The problem is we aren’t really inwardly unified psychologically, or spiritually (if you will). In other words, the average person is so non-integrated that we lack inner consistency. All of us, and those who don’t work on themselves or become self-aware( and it takes time and do it without obsession and the will to convert others to one's way) will likely always remain that way, subtly and grossly.

By Integrated I don’t mean brainwashed and programmed into some kind of dogma, that’s false, artificial integration (usually by the religious and political fanatics) but a steady flow of right-thinking values that flow into our hearts and minds willingly through light, not fire.

eh who am I kidding? I had The Gut on a bit of a pedastle when
I first met him.. I learned so much from him.. it's slightly
uncomfortalble the good will doesn't extend both ways.

But I had been thinking of making such a post for some time..
maybe I'll write it up more formally and make a dedicated

Look, we’ve been down a similar road. That’s evident. It’s a long road with many valleys (no pun intended).

My advice to myself is that the past programming into the negative is the challenge we have most to confront. And everyone has their own devils ( negative programming) to deal with.

But I believe if sincerity exists in the heart of the true seeker, he or she cannot fail to find the promised land.

My interaction with you has also been beneficial and I'm grateful for it.

Personally, I've found that by developing a connection with the
'ego of the right hemisphere of the brain', that I'm less trapped
by negativity inherent in the 'ego of the left hemisphere'.

In some ways, "spirituality' can be charactertized by that journey.

So she had a major stroke in her Left Brain Hemisphere.. she was a
hardened materialist until that happened..

but once she was 'reduced' to the "right brain hemisphere' in large
part, she became transcendent.. and she's changed to this day..

even though she's fully recovered now.

I'm not saying that 'that's all' 'spirituaity' is... but it has a lot
of explanatory power..

IMHO there are lurking connections to 'the larger life', but
that physical element has a strong involvement.
