Remember she died protecting against Ganon or if she isn't she'd be literally 100 years old and should look like Impa. IMHO I think Link is fair game now for other maidens to fall in love since the champions are all dead too (if you don't follow Age of Calamity's screwed up timeline).

The end of the first game has Zelda alive and quite well.

Because the link and Zelda infinitely reincarnate and so does Gannon…

Did you even play Zelda man? It’s spelled out pretty clearly at the end of BOTW for anyone who missed it in the previous 10 games.

Link also time travels and moves between dimensions…

Also you may be part correct in that Zelda in the current iteration is dead and Link in order to both save her and attempt to finally destroy Gannon’s soul for ever will venture into the spirit realm to do so hense that heavenly style of architecture we see in BOTW2 trailers as well as the voice actors all being for spirits.

How can anyone play a non top down 3rd person version? The others don't come across as Zelda and Link at all.

That would be fine if Nintendo didn't stated it was a DIRECT sequel. What if BOTW2 deals with death more in Hylian terms and Link shifts from living to dead. Link perhaps died and is now being used as a vessel.

It will be about the war 10,000 years ago in Kass's long song. I love how he rhymes.

Just because it’s a direct sequel doesn’t mean events didn’t happen in between.

Which Dad and I believe they will bring back the Ocarina of Time which you probably must find. They are likely trying to 'figger out' as the one Goron puts it how much/little to go online vs offline due to the shipping problems globally. They don't want to release something in bad times that is hard to get. We are literally in a global depression in all but name.

TI dare say it feels like a lite version of the four Apocalyptic horseman.
Covid was Pestilence and now we are facing Famine by fall most food experts are predicting and in many cases showing up and that's all I'll say on that matter. Stock up while you still can if your stores aren't half empty yet. Or is it half full?

They don't really know what's going to happen next as every month things keep changing for the worst so they don't want all their Cucoo eggs in one basket if you know what I mean......They don't want to have to dumb it down like BOTW did where it was barely playable. Any bigger of a game would break things.
