Do you wonder why the independent investigation was voted down? I mean why would you vote to investigate something you played a part in. The first name provided last night is Scott Perry who was inquiring about a pardon from Trump after the 6th and for trying to overturn the election, there apparently were various other GOP senators seeking the same thing. That will be an interesting day to watch.

Similar to Fox. You think they would have shown it last night, and there to see is texts from Hannity stating there should be no more stolen election talk and the 25th amendment or impeachment might be a good idea and then Kayleigh McEnany stated she loved that.

Their very own actions are the complete opposite of the bs they are filling their constitutes and viewers heads with.

I enjoyed watching the mostly non-violent peaceful patriot protesters whack the crap out of law enforcement. That's how you make America super awesome.

on the back end of that I probably would have ended. up doing the same thing, giving oodles of chances, stating quite firmly that if you break that door/window you will be shot, anything after that is Ashli's fault.

Justified shooting for breaking a window?

Sounds pretty drastic to me, to be honest. Can we take this idea farther? "If you don't wear your seat belt, you will be shot." "If you stick a candy bar in your pocket and walk out of the store with it, you will be shot." "If you open a lemonade stand without a city permit, you will be shot."

Shooting of a suspect is only appropriate when one's life, or the lives of others, are in jeopardy. That is why we have tasers, right? I'm no fan of tasers (they're overused and officers are poorly trained IMO) but they are much less lethal than a bullet. Seems like this would have been an appropriate instance for the use of a taser, assuming the officer had to shoot something. It's probably too much to ask that the officer just restrain her.

I mean, really... I have seen so many obviously justified shootings condemned on here because the officer didn't get hit by the bullet that was aimed at him, condemned because "he should have just tazed him." But breaking a window, unarmed, is deserving of death?

I normally agree with you, but this one i cannot agree with. There is no excuse for killing an unarmed person over a broken window. None. I don't care what party she affiliated with.

How many of them were murdered? I'm hearing conflicting numbers, ranging from 0 to 5, depending on the source. CBS says 5. JTN says 0.

There's also no excuse for the January 6th committee of rabid dogs ignoring the only death from violence on that day.

So, it's okay to beat up cops as long as you don't kill them? Got it.

I guess I need to locate where “sham” occurs in my political barrel:

You got the lid.
Campaign promises.
Job performance
Personal nature.
Scandal.
Sham.
Lies.
Damned Lies.
Statistics.
Perjury.
Bill Clinton.
Richard Nixon.
James Buchanan.
Obama.
Witch-hunts.
McCarthyism.
Bottom of barrel.
Nancy Pelosi.
Hillary Clinton.

There is scum at the top to skim off and you see what you get when you scrape the bottom. You can’t have perjury without Bill Clinton. But you have people that did deliberate actions and people that did deliberate inactions. Joe isn’t there because he really can’t control it like crapping his pants.

If you count it four times then you get 81 million just like the election. Mail in early viewers will save it when the trucks get here.

Context: The evening newscasts on CBS, NBC & ABC average anywhere from 18 to 20 million viewers combined on a typical night. Those newscasts do not air in primetime. The January 6 hearings airing in primetime Thursday took in just 11+ million viewers on those three same networks.

Law Enforcement was opening the doors for peaceful protestors, while others were getting beat up by violent protestors.

Its like two different locations are being discussed.
