Less than 200 years ago public standards said it was okay to beat your slave in the middle of the street. Standards change with the times. There's nothing wrong with two people of the same sex kissing in public or holding hands. Just like there's nothing wrong about hosting a support group for gay teens or writing a sympathetic article about a gay man.

Under Russia's law, all of these things are criminalized.

I consider lgbtq hate on straight bias along the lines of slander and libel where a persons reputation and livelihood is under threat for there beliefs, if this wasn't the case I believe more people would be passively acceptive of other humans dysmorphic perceptions.

Now what the real crime is these public displays of sexuality in pre-teen public spaces like libraries and especially schools. Honestly every classroom room should have recorded sessions not only for information regurgitation purposes but teacher accountability most importantly and these sessions should be saved per school year or at least monthly. Like police body cameras these morality crimes that these non neutral teachers commit on a daily basis everyday is disgusting and should be reviewed.

Its ok to believe in what you want. But to proselytize people of your perceived truth let alone developing children is wrong no matter what you believe. It is the responsibility of the teacher to maintain an informative yet neutral atmosphere of education to allow the developing mind to grow in all directions for maximum benefit. Once you start tapering down the paths of growth with perceived truths especially when its about a life decision that the consequences they will carry for the rest of there life is where I draw the line.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, because Russia practices Marxist philosophy.. just like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube , ABC , NBC , CBS , CNN , MSNBC , BBC , Fox , public schools & State colleges… Democrats are Communist & it’s sad , because I fancy myself a JFK Democrat .

Yep, they said promoting their lifestyle would never lead to things like that. But it has.

Many of us said it would and it did.

Live and let live is fine with me but they blew it themselves and have no one else to blame.

They need to stay the hell away from the kids and speak out against this grooming. If they don’t they will lose more and more support.

Russia is decades behind and they see what’s coming their way.

The LGBT community put themselves and their Russian brothers and sisters in this situation.

They are targeting the wrong problem. The problem is not gays influencing minors but adults, often in positions of authority, bringing sexuality and gender issues, including flat out classroom discussions of genitals with children and the promotion of transgender theory which has seen genders morph from Gen x where less than a half a percent of people identified as transgender to the millennials where 2% did, then you have suddenly Gen z where transgender or not, 56% of boys age 7 to 21 do not identify as male and the current youngest generation having people at a rate of like 10% identifying as trans or non-binary. Obviously we didn’t change what is in the water so we have absolute proof that there is an active influence working with incredible accuracy to reshape the very fabric of society and on top of that, sexuality being included with talk of gender theory and teachers who don’t have any shame in conflating the two, and it’s criminal gay or straight. Good for Russia for doing something about it but they got it all wrong. The law should prohibit sexual discussion with minors, not promoting homosexuality as a natural lifestyle which should be just fine and dandy and would help many kids struggling with who they are.

I don't think it is that important who people have sex with , if no laws are broken i don't care.

Equality is good but we shouldnt blow things up and make everything about sex.
