Maybe I could be convinced. However, right now, its infringement plain and simple.
In even a slightly less than perfect world I shouldnt have to prove my innocence.
Our govt had no issue or oversight sending automatic arms to civilians in other countries. While in the same breath demonizing lesser firearms here at home that we have a right to bear.

Its a nice thought but history has shown that those congress critters arent going to do anything. Same with abortion, debt etc etc.
To them, its all just fodder to run and bank on.

I can’t help but feel like it would have a negative psychological effect on young kids (especially), being taught by mrs Jones who has to be strapped with a glock… just as a constant reminder to them that some crazy person could break down the door and start shooting up the classroom at any moment.
Honestly, at the end of the day, I feel like this Uvalde school massacre would’ve never have happened if there was a federal regulation as simple as saying that people under 21 need at least 2 references from family members to qualify for purchasing a firearm.
Such a simple thing and it wouldn’t even infringe on any grown adults right to bear arms.

In some states it doesn't matter who is selling and who is buying, the transfer has to be done in a licensed gun store. The forms have to be filled out and signed just as if you were purchasing from a brick and mortar store. The licensed intermediary is responsible for filing the transfer of ownership with the state. It is also a good idea for the seller and buyer to get a signed bill of sale with the sn on it. The seller should keep that for a minimum of ten years after the sale. If the firearm is used in the commission of a crime and you don't have a bill of sale for it, you become the prime suspect.

I agree 100%. I was talking more about the lowest requirements scenario that one may come up on in some states, but it still puts a lot of responsibility on the seller even in those situations.
So once again what do the libs want to add to it? Who knows... I think it is all BS narrative with nothing below the surface.

London actually passed New York city in murder per 100k people, and it was done mostly with knives. Guess what the solution proposed by the liberal government was...ban knives of course. Next will be pointy sticks, rocks, pipes and 2x4's, cricket bats, whatever. Heaven forbid they focus on the people who do this stuff instead of the tools they use...

I agree. The first answer I found involving an armed presence at the schools was to arm the teachers. But as I stated, many of then are devout liberals and do not want to have anything to do with guns. And even those who might be open to the idea probably aren't the best first line defense against an armed aggressor. Hence the suggestion of hiring swat or former military.

Republicans in the House want to push a bill to establish best practices at the federal level for all schools. They would look at what works the best and push to to all schools as a standard, but Schumer wouldn't even let it go to the floor saying it would mean more guns in schools. Its like the left wants mass shootings in schools to continue.

To me its obvious that they do as they use it to push their agenda. Just look at Obamas latest tweet which demonstrates this perfectly.
"Never let a good crisis go to waste" -Democrats
So lets create them so we can abuse them.

Exactly that. Its a insanely ridiculous "solution". for anyone who wathced the video i posted about it. It mentions that 70% of the knifes used are kitchen knifes. So what do they propose, to ban kitchen knifes? How about they actually punish the perpetrators for a chance instead of constantly letting them walk free or a slap on the wrist but nope, They show zero incentive on that as i shown in one of my previous posts in this thread.
The clown world is real. Fake, they are all fake. All talk no walk and doing the exact oposite on the talks they sell throug media. And they get people to follow it and agree with it.
But hey what are we gonna do about it. They know that 50% of the worlds population has a IQ under 70 so it works, for them.

Probably something to do with the color?
They seem to have a problem with black firearms.

Or he would’ve just smashed a window and jumped though. Doubt he was going to just call it a day and go home, once he realized the doors were locked.

Do the math... 13 mass murders at schools where 4 or more people were killed in the last 50+ years, this one was number 13. There are 190,000 schools in America so what is the chances of any one getting hit ever? Pretty freaken low no matter how horrendous it is. In this case we had a lot of failures to include a door left open wide just when a crazy guy with an AR was running from the cops, but lets add he was outside of the school for like 15 mins after he crashed...WTF was all that about. Add the HUGE delays to enter and take him out that took a random border patrol guy to do it finally.
Its like no longer a gun discussion with all that....
