How's that logic working out for you? I see good people who don't own weapons and bad people who are abusing weapons. That's how your logic is working out. I live in San Antonio, TX and my daughter is currently in 3rd Grade.

Trust me, I know a little more about this.

Thankfully, my daughters school sits less then a qtr mile away from both a Police substation and Fire department, not to mention armed guards on call.

Truth is? We'll start seeing more privatized security at schools.

I remember in 2007 I was a vegetarian and one of many spree killings happened that so discombobulated me, the Virginia tech event (32 dead) so shocked me when I heard it, I went to a pizza parlor and ordered a meat-filled pizza, and walked around eating it not even realizing that I was a vegetarian!

It's an indictment of our "free" civilization that all the hate, division, and ignorance have plagued this society. Not just in America but the secular "humanism" throughout the western world.

And though not the main reason for this, too many gun advocates stubbornly refuse to accept that CERTAINLY easy access to guns IS ONE OF THE PROBLEMS THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THIS.

Those kids are dead because they are a soft target. Period. If it were not guns it would be bombs, if not bombs it would be vehicles, if not vehicles it would be arson, if not arson it would be knives, if not knives it would be poisons, etc.
