It may have been in his mind to take hostages at one point, and then he snapped. No one sane can do something like this.

Most mass shootings are planned in advance. They are underway when law enforcement gets involved. This one seems to have been different.

Yes, I'm sure. I've looked it up. Try it. Make a chart comparing gun availability to gun deaths per capita. There is no correlation. The UK is one country. If you think that proves anything, you need to take a statistics class.

I can’t imagine what the parents are going through. You never expect to send your kids to school and not have them come home.

The most common method that guns used in crimes in the U.S. were obtained by the criminal was through straw purchases. Straw purchases are already illegal. The only way to stop them would be to ban guns. That would be ineffective because we refuse to secure our border.

Uninformed. The fact is that the statistics show there is no correlation between availability of guns and the number of shootings. The only way you can "prove" otherwise is to cherry-pick countries.

I am sure the odds are high.
I still stand by my point though.
The only way to solve this problem is to give everyone a huge amount of money to turn their guns in, that way criminals might actually do it.
Instead of $50 billion to Ukraine, gun buy back program at $50K or $100K a pop.
Criminals would be scrambling to find guns on the street to turn in.
