Seems like an awesome political move for Pelosi. I know many 'religious' politicians have been exposed in some of the worst kind of corruption imaginable. Brings to mind something in the Bible about 'you shall know them by their works'.
Using that as a guide, I don't see too many people anywhere that appear to be following the teachings of Christ.
I can count the sweet, loving, kind 'Sunday Church people' whom I've met who behave in the same manor the rest of the week on one hand.

'Going to church doesn't make one a Christian anymore than standing in a garage makes one a car'. Pelosi has never struck me as a true follower, nor as a Christian- and none of her 'works' suggest she is, either. There's more to spirituality than doing lip service on Sunday, or espousing a strong belief while on the campaign trail.

Usually when someone's loins fail it means they can't get pregnant anymore.

In summary there are words that mean the death of a baby in the womb, none of them are used in the verse you used. Like I said, and have proven, your post falls flat. Even if it did refer to a child in the womb, which I have shown it does not, it would be God causing it. The verse is very clear, nothing the woman drinks can cause her harm, the substance itself is harmless, anything that happens is caused by God and God alone.
