i commend them and support them.

the issue is here (sadly) it isnt the vast majority and/or a majority that drowns out who is left.

these groups (lbgq whatever, democrats, teacher unions) STILL have large amount of members that DONT STAND UP against them

if they did the group dynamic would change and/or go out of existance.

for example Amak (am i getting that right) is a group started because the original group claiming to represent "the elderly" has gone off the rails.

it is not as big as the original yet, but it is growing.
or the tea party and trump supporters that have shaken the republican establishment (scares them to be honest)


i am NOT chastising those in the homosexual community that have TAKEN A STAND against this..

i am calling those out that just sit on the sidelines and let the organization speak for them...

hell look at the union members that got the courts to let them stop paying dues to the unions when it goes to (ex) candidates that they DID NOT APPROVE THEIR MONEY TO BE SPENT ON..

IMO more likely "fall of rome" situation

every nation, group, tribe, whatever goes though the cycle.. start small, go though trials/tribulations, gets prosperous/powerful (not all reach this stage), then hits a decline though its own pride/greed/arrogance/softness.
then either crashes, gets taken over by someone (be internal or external), goes rock bottom.. then (hopefully) starts the cycle again

rome was just one example but you can see all of the european countries were "top dog" at one time then decline and start again.

we have to remember USA is a relatively YOUNG country that has done quite well and has not had the problems (yes civil war but not as bad as our across the pond friends) in scale.

can we stop the downward cycle?

YES.. but only ... AGAIN ONLY IF we recognize it and put in the work to stop it.
it wont be easy , it will take some time, it will involve some pain , and some people will not be happy/in the wrong..
