It appears that in Russia you have to follow the script as well. The whole lot is starting to smell of rotten fish. I would suggest the whole thing is all wrapped up with peak oil, at least somehow 7 billion people with cars need affordable gasoline, and fracking cant cut it. The whole of the military-industrial complex runs on it. So they will be getting priority. Lockdowns and low fuel use go hand in hand, it's all about your carbon footprint now. Russia seems to have plenty at least for a while, but there is no way they will let them get as rich as the middle East unless they are controlling it of course.

Russia didn't go to war they conducted a "special operation" in Ukraine , Russia wasn't consulted so it didn't know the risks and personally I doubt the people of Russia would have supported it.

I know you are hoping that things get worse for Russia.

I'm hoping this conflict comes to a negotiated end as soon as possible and the killing stops , then I hope we can all kiss and make up and go about what used to be known as a normal lifestyle.

Failing that I'm hoping the squeeze being but on Russia will hasten the efforts of the plotters looking to bring Putin down.

And yeah , I'm sure there are plotters.
