Interesting Western news report about Mariupol in 2014

The battles in Mariupol have been going on for years. Just look at how the Ukrainian forces are treating the civilians in Mariupol back in 2014.

. Look at the hate the Ukrainian citizens of Mariupol have for the Ukrainian army. Many of us said Mariupol was happy to see the Russian forces come to the city, people called us "Russian propaganda". We played the videos, hundreds and hundreds of interviews with citizens of Mariupol saying that Ukrainian was shooting at the civilians, Ukraine was killing the Civilians. In fact Grim on YouTube has hours of Mariupol citizens talking of Ukrainian aggression against the civilians in Mariupol.

We told many members here that Mariupol was a pro Russian city made up of .ots of ethnic Russians civilians that wanted to separate with the Donetsk Peoples Republic, again they did not believe us.

Well here is a good Western MSM news report from the UK of the Ukrainian army inside Mariupol in 2014 and how they dealt with the citizens of Mariupol. Now maybe people who were "on the fence" about Mariupol will see that those people of Mariupol were indeed telling the truth about the Ukrainian army shooting at & killing citizens, destroying infrastructure.

This is one of the reasons that Russia had to invade Ukraine, to get rid of the Ukrainian army and for regime change that is necessary so no more civilians are attacked by Ukrainian forces.

You won't see main stream Western news reports like this anymore, that are on the ground and telling the truth & showing the people what's really going on. If the American public could see how the Ukrainian army is treating its own civilians I'm sure they wouldn't want Billions of their tax payer dollars going to give these forces more weapons.

This is 2014, Russia was not in Mariupol, this is Ukraine attacking its own Russian speaking civilians. It's all there in black and white, I know the truth hurts but it is what it is. Back when the MSM was telling the truth about Ukraine

So russia didn't invade Ukraine to steal land in 2014?

That EXACT land?

After the Ukraine broke away from being allied to Russia, half the people did do better, that was not the case for the other half. The Ukrainian government is not a very good government when it treated it's own citizens so bad in some areas. There was no justification for how the Ukrainian government killed so many of it's own citizens over the years. If they call that government a democracy, it is one of the worst democracies I have heard of.

Seems it is ok in war to kill regular citizens as long as they are not targeted, and it is acceptable in war to target the military...but taboo to target the people who started the war. Why is it that way, why do wars protect the people at the top so much, the ones who usually start all the BS...and nobody can touch them. Those rules of war protecting the countries leaders have been in place for centuries. That is the reality we live in...so I guess I will follow the rules because that is the way it is.

Intervention by Metinvest steelworkers on 15 May 2014 led to the removal of barricades from the city centre, and the resumption of patrols by local police. Separatists continued to operate a headquarters in another part of the city until their positions were overrun in a government offensive on 13 June 2014.
