You:
The 'West' isn't interested in joining russia's war of agression.
My source:
Together, we will provide military assistance to Ukraine and impose devastating punitive measures should Putin forgo diplomacy for a path to war.
Next?

Are you making the claim that the US is joining the war?
Because I was responding to this quote by you.
The 'West' isn't interested in joining russia's war of agression.
You equating 'military assistance' to 'joining a war' is not.
Together, we will provide military assistance to Ukraine and impose devastating punitive measures should Putin forgo diplomacy for a path to war.

A popular YouTuber and critic of President Zelensky was arrested in Spain at request Ukrainian government on charges of treason and is facing extradition, despite that he had publicly condemning Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Isn't it 15 years in prison for protesting in Russia?

Constitutionally, citizens of the United States owe allegiance to at least two political entities. One is the United States of America, and the other is their state of legal residence. Only one person has ever been executed for treason against the federal government: William Bruce Mumford, who was convicted of treason and hanged in 1862 for tearing down a United States flag during the American Civil War. However, this was under martial law, not Article Three of the United States Constitution.[5]
Now I know there is a lot to digest with this quote from Wikipedia, and this is only for the US. However I imagine in times of martial law, if you criticized the government in any way as a citizen, there is a president for arrest and punishment. Not saying that I agree with it, however, he is a Ukrainian citizen and bound to their laws, which I will admit I am ignorant of. However if a country like the United States can do such a thing during martial law, I don't see why other countries wouldn't go this route as well.

What about that famous case where the mom and dad in the 1960s were executed for treason regarding the atomic bomb?

Zelensky and Ukraine are corrupt. Russia are power hungry and insane. None of the conflict has any implications on the average citizen of the world. It sickens me that the corrupt Biden administration is meddling in that war. Probably just to keep all the corruption from coming to light. America is headed for a tipping point. Personally I'd welcome a second civil war. We need a reset and not the one the WEF has in store either.

Is this an example of how democracy should work? where you cant criticize your own country's president? whatever its on the war in Ukraine or on other issues?
The government quickly labels you with Treason charges.
The same Ukraine and Zelensky that is supposed to be fighting in the name of Freedom and Democracy.
If you are supposedly fighting for freedom they will label you with any claims that you are Pro Russian or Treason acts.
Zelensky Critic Arrested in Spain on Orders of Ukrainian Government
They claim that Shariy has been acting on behalf of “foreign” forces by infringing Ukraine’s national security via his media commentary on the war and engaging in “incitement of hatred.”
The Ukrainian is accusing anyone criticizing their actions acting on behalf of “foreign” forces.
This is despite that the blogger wasn't pro Russian to begin with.
