As far as helping Democrats in the midterms, it would've been better if this had not leaked. The actual decision was due to come out in June or July. Any positive effect for Democrats would've been even more pronounced if it had come even closer to the elections, versus now when there's 6 months for some of the outrage to calm down.

Maybe it was a conservative clerk who leaked it. Which would be hilarious since Democrats have basically been calling the leaker a hero

An alternative motivation may have been a liberal who wanted states to have a heads up this was coming so they can get their own laws passed strengthen abortion in their states before this decision becomes official.

That sounds harsh, but the answer is almost always no. We like to think we do, but we really don't.
There are so many parents that don't even care about the kids they have, but then pretend to care about
others. Hilarious.

Those same people will yell and scream about free school lunches, helping the poor. You know a way to stop that? I do.

We have so many bigger fish to fry in this country this shouldn't even be an issue/distraction.

You just don't get it. It's not a liberal vs. conservative issue. Do you really think that the majority of people in DC fall under one classification or the other? Do you think that any of them actually give rat's ass about you folks, whatever you call yourselves?

We are living under what is by and large a uniparty system. All of these dichotomies, these "you against them" hang-ups keep us - the ones being screwed over - divided and fighting one another. While they rape you, you bicker with one another and take their violation with gusto.

Cannot disagree with the op here, not one bit. we are coming up on an Election (Midterms) polling numbers are awful, had to make a power play somehow..

There has never been a leak in the Court's history, let that sink in.

This set the tone for the thread. Conservative vrs Liberal. You did it. What I did in my first reply was open the discussion to it not being automatically a liberal leak but mentioning the possibility of it being a conservative leak.

Look, I don't know who leaked this information and neither do you unless something has come out from an investigation since I left the information loop. So yes, one side or the other of this monster with two smiling faces made this information public. it's my choice to pick which of the lying sides is lying here in this ''leak game''. The suppositions made that that member sounded like information that could be taken into account in understanding which ''game player'' made the leak.

Whenever the libs are behind in the polls during an election year they fall back to their old trusted friend of Roe vs Wade to get the war drums beating again. They are already having violent protests in Portland ( I keep wondering... Do these people have a job or a life?) of a state that is heavy pro choice by state law. Every liberal candidate is now just talking about how they will ensure pro choice within their state as long as the people there keep voting them into office. This is their holy grail that they bring out of the closet and dust off each voting cycle.
