Here's the very dangerous part of this deal. I answered on another thread but it is very relevant on this one. DO NOT treat this post with distain, it is serious

USA is aiding Ukraine with money and weaponry, you get that. But USA is a NATO member. Now the double edged answer:- probably according to Putin this "arrangement" is through NATO, this then leads to Putin thinking he is fighting NATO. It sounds silly don't it. But in reality it's truth. And the more the Russians find "foreign fighters" from NATO countries the more it reinforces that notion.

don't know how it got me here. But I can't leave my comment. I believe that this war would not have happened. If the United States, Europe and others had imposed their sanctions and helped Ukraine back in 2014. Now it has all turned into a protracted crisis for the whole world. But while free and peaceful people can calmly discuss the rise in food prices or some other nonsense, Russian soldiers rape women, loot, kill children and the elderly. Since 2008, the Russian government has been threatening with nuclear weapons to the right and to the left. But there has not been a single combat use of this weapon since the 45th year

It makes sense to pay attention to the fact that this act was prepared before the start of the Russian special operation.

01/19/2022 Senate Read twice and referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations.

Thus, preparations were made to support the impending attack of Ukraine on the Donbass and Russia.

It should also be noted that russia was seen moving troops close to the Ukrainian boarder on Nov 10, after Zelenskyy partnered with NATO in Sept. By Nov 28, 92,000 troops were on the russian Ukrainian boarder. and in Jan russia had troops in Belarus close to the boarder pretending to be doing military exercises .

So you could also say that preparations were made to support the impending attack on Ukraine by a russian invasion force.

A few hours ago S. 3522 passed the house.

This bill temporarily waives certain requirements related to the President's authority to lend or lease defense articles if the defense articles are intended for Ukraine's government or the governments of other Eastern European countries affected by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
For FY2022 and FY2023, an agreement to lend or lease defense articles under this bill shall not be subject to certain requirements and provisions that typically apply to such lend-lease agreements, including a requirement that generally prohibits a loan or lease period from exceeding five years.
The President must establish expedited procedures to ensure the timely delivery of defense articles loaned or leased to Ukraine under this bill.

Fast tracked presidential spending in Ukraine. Its almost like we didnt just take a 1.4% shrink in the economy today.

All on top of a porous border, inflation and food costs that are only getting worse.

We are in deep S.

Last month, Ukraine President Zelenskyy asked for $55 Billion of our taxpayer dollars to help Ukraine pay pensions, pave roads, reduce homelessness, and meet internal budget needs.

However, our Congress was only willing to cough up $45 Billion.

Now that we've sent Volodymyr Zelenskyy a staggering $100 Billion taxpayer dollars over the past 10 months, it's time to throttle back the financial and weapons gifts, and shift to working on helping Ukraine and Russia develop/implement a peace agreement.

Lend lease is a major game changer. Lend lease enables Ukraine to obtain thousands of F-16 jets and M1 tanks.
