Most of what we're getting these days isn't really about "conspiracies", at least not in the traditional sense. It's more like a combination of partisan politics and doom porn.

Just browsing through this forum you'll see that maybe 2/3 threads can be summed up as either "Liberals hate America" or "Liberals want to kill us all".

Everything is a plot by liberals to control us through pandemic regulations or artificial food shortages, or by making everyone gay.

Sometimes people say "globalists" or "NWO", or "TBTB", but when you read the thread it's all Clinton this or Biden that.

You could of course pull your attention away from the grey, red, brown and blue/purple forums towards the green and yellow ones. Perhaps that changes the range of palates a bit.

Hearing a LOUD Trumpet/ship horn sound on a school playground along with 1 other child (even though we were surrounded by people who didn’t notice it at all) brought me here.

I lurked for years off and on in looking for answers from an alien abduction that happened to myself and a friend/neighbor of mine when I was a preteen.

It's obvious that it's a coordinated effort, which suggests that the strategy has been ordered down from up high.

Who has such unfathomable power?

Perhaps someone who has had thousands of years to hone his skills involving the deception and manipulation of mankind. Someone who through experience of many generations of mankind, has studied their behaviour and attitudes and the art of shaping and conditioning it to fit his own desires and agenda of 'divide and conquer', so well, that he has becomes an expert at it, far better than any elite group of humans could because their time is much more limited to hone their skills in the same manner (even with the passing on of knowledge, information and propaganda techniques related to this effort).

Perhaps 'follow the money' is not always the best path to take to find out who is really or ultimately responsible for mankind's self-destructive behaviour.

To the Jewish religious leaders, Jesus said:

“You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a murderer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.” (John 8:44)

Yes, as a kid I was into all things extra terrestrial so that was my first draw to the world of "fringe" beliefs and fueled my curiosity.

In my late 20's, I started noticing and experiencing some subtle and not so subtle inconsistencies in what I had been taught in school and church about reality, so that really kicked off my journey into the "truth seeker" domain.

I was a young marine on 9/11, stationed in Japan, so I paid a lot of attention to the theories surrounding the WTC and the way it galvanized a lot of different social groups.

I always enjoy the broad swath of topics on ats, and I am very committed to discussion and reasoning about any and all ideas and this site has allowed free speech to function in a way that is becoming rare across any corporate media controlled entities.

Thanks, I think Kubrick and the moon landing was the one of the first theories I heard of as a teenager while indulging in some green leaf and talking stoner philosophy.

I also agree with you on the use of pyschological manipulation to keep people buying things and distracted.

I have an issue placing blame on metaphysical entities. They don't bleed. An it is what it is scenario which renders any constructive effort to effect positive change impotent.

Real world problems will never be solved, real people will never be held accountable if the main protagonist is a mirage.

If Christianity didn't exist, neither would its boogeyman.

Christianity introduced holy wars, inquisitions, witch hunts, a lot of paedophilia and more to the world.

The people's lives it destroyed didn't need a devil for a boogeyman.

Christianity was scary enough.

And they always need more money because prayers don't work.

Hahahaha, yes, good old crypto. I found out about BTC around this site or a similar one.

I actually worked in smart contract and Blockchain development for a couple years before I got burned out.

Money in any form has the potential to bring out some less than desirable traits in people and I had to get out of the Fintech industry.

Yes, I was very intrigued by Assange, but his personality really soured me on him. But there was definitely a concerted effort to censor and block anything that WikiLeaks revealed.

For me the obvious draw is the fact that the scriptwriters of global narratives appear to have lost their minds.

That is both accurate and hilarious.

As a teen, developed an interest in JFK, which over time led me to ask, “what else are they lying about?”
Which led me to an interest in various CIA projects, mockingbird, MK Ultra in particular.

Stumbled upon the FBI Anon, which of course led me to Q which I’m totally fascinated with, but don’t necessarily believe or subscribe to but is a work of art if nothing else IMHO. Led me to time travel. Not sure what to think there but it is an interest.

I am a Christian and do believe in spiritual warfare and believe a lot of what we see playing out today is leading up to the end. I have a huge interest in eschatology and prophecy.

Politics doesn’t interest me outside of what I mentioned above and I think left/right doesn’t even matter any longer. I believe it is good/evil. People are unwittingly picking a side and sometimes don’t even realize it. And whether they want to admit it or not, it is the left that seems to be picking the wrong side. All the -isms, the sexual depravity, abortion, the infiltration of the schools to destroy the family unit, the Rona, Godlessness, lack of spiritual depth, globalism…all part of the cosmic plan the leads to the OWG, the AC and the False Prophet.

I am apparently related to one of the guys involved in the Pascagoula Abduction Incident, however, I've never met the person and I dont know which one he was. My mom used to tease my dad about it, but that is as far as my first hand connection to any abductee situation goes.

I have also witnessed and experienced what can best be described as "psychical phenomenon" throughout my life, which is also what really fueled my interest in the fringe.

Thanks for the response.

I like all religion and conspiracy and all, but my sociology based interest is too detached from an emotional position to ever really mix well in the environment.

I'm a hybrid of too many world views to fit in. Therevada Buddhist as imagined in suspended annihilation. Too self developed and personalized.

But to one of your questions:

Independence day is on right now. As Hollywood and dumb in retrospect as that movie is, I absolutely love the part where everyone comes together for a bit and celebrates the common victory.

Its a nice fuzzy moment that provokes the thought, "It really would take an alien invasion for people to stop hating each-other. For at least a week anyway."

Humor and weird answers.

Can't say I'm surprised with your thinking on the matter, as already described in my commentary. You still have a right to know though, so maybe one day you'll consider it seriously in spite of the programming and conditioning of what the Bible refers to as "this system of things" and "the god of this system of things" (referring to Satan the Devil) who wants you to think just like the way you expressed now (that's also why it's so recognizable to me).

“If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things* [Or “this age.”] has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination* [Or “light.”] of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.” (2 Cor 4:4)

“For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the wholesome* [Or “healthful; beneficial.”] teaching, but according to their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers to have their ears tickled.* [Or “to tell them what they want to hear.”] They will turn away from listening to the truth and give attention to false stories.” (2 Timothy 4:3,4)

“So we should no longer be children, tossed about as by waves and carried here and there by every wind of teaching by means of the trickery of men, by means of cunning in deceptive schemes.” (Ephesians 4:14)

“And stop being molded by this system of things, but be transformed by making your mind over, so that you may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2)

You and your thinking (especially regarding this subject) has been molded by this system of things and its god and ruler. Just a heads-up, perhaps one day in the future you will be able to wake up to this and resist that systematic conditioning. If nobody ever gave you that heads-up, you definitely won't wake up to it. Good luck.

Oh, and it is not "an 'it is what it is' scenario which renders any constructive effort to effect positive change impotent." There's a lot you can do to resist his (Satan's) propaganda, brainwashing, conditioning, programming and influence on you personally. Once you have a better understanding of the bigger picture, you're also in a better position to help others do the same. To really wake them up. Also wake them up to the distraction that can be termed "conspiracy entertainment" (a tool Satan and his demon and human pawns and victims use to keep people running in circles chasing their own tails, or perhaps I should say "tales" in light of 2 Tim 4:3,4.)

And they always need more money because prayers don't work.

Follow the money.

That's because:

(False) Religion is a Snare and a Racket

Christendom (often confused with Christianity*) included. *: you also said "Christianity" when you were describing the bad things Christendom shares responsibility for (along with the rest of Babylon the Great/false religion and other factors driving this behaviour). You said "introduced" but Christendom wasn't really the first to introduce these things or similar things with a different term.

Talking about war... during World War II, while Catholics and Protestants in Great Britain and the United States were killing Catholics and Protestants in Italy and Germany, Buddhists in Japan were doing the same to their Buddhist brothers in southeast Asia. And all the major Buddhist temples in Japan supported that war and used war propaganda “to protect warfare against popular dissent, opposition, and factual analysis of issues.” (as historian H. E. Barnes puts it when he's talking about war propaganda)

Confessing Their Bloodguilt

“We called the war [World War II] a holy war and sent people to battlefields,” admitted Shingen Hosokawa, the secretary-general of the Temple Office of the Buddhist True Pure Land Otani Sect in Japan. “We cannot but be overwhelmed with shame in front of the holy Buddha.” At a recent “Memorial Service for All War Dead,” 45 years after the end of World War II, the sect, with over five million believers, admitted its responsibility in “willingly cooperating in [the war efforts of] World War II.” “There is no precedent for a traditional Buddhist order clearly to state its own war responsibility at a religious ritual,” noted the Asahi Shimbun.

However, should not far more religions be “overwhelmed with shame” for having urged many young men to go to war? According to the Kodansha Encyclopedia of Japan, virtually all Buddhist, “Christian,” and Shinto denominations in Japan formed a Religious League in 1941 “to provide a spiritual bulwark for the nation in wartime.”

Not surprisingly, referring to the world empire of false religion as “Babylon the Great,” the Bible says: “Yes, in her was found the blood . . . of all those who have been slaughtered on the earth.” (Revelation 18:2, 24) Will Jehovah God, the Giver of human life, call those religionists to account for their bloodguilt? The same chapter of Revelation graphically describes what will happen to Babylon the Great, stating: “A strong angel lifted up a stone like a great millstone and hurled it into the sea, saying: ‘Thus with a swift pitch will Babylon the great city be hurled down, and she will never be found again.’”—Revelation 18:21.

The book warns of people who won't believe in the book.

Of course, the book is true because it says so in the book.

Something to think about (i.e. rhetorical questions, no need to answer):

Is that really what my commentary boils down to or is that perhaps what you want to read into it, or how you want to see it so you can say to yourself, 'aha, just another 'because the Bible says so' type of comment, no need to consider seriously, ridicule will do'? Was no extrabiblical evidence for the claims and descriptions in the Bible discussed in my first 2 replies to you?

The book warns of people who won't believe in the book.

Assuming you're primarily referring to my quotation of 2 Cor 4:4 which talks about "unbelievers", that's not actually the main point there (the way you describe it) nor the reason why I quoted it. It was already quoted and elaborated on in my first 2 replies, I used it as a reminder regarding the term "the god of this system of things" because I used the term just before that. As it relates to the concept of one's thinking (reasoning), attitude and behaviour being molded by "this system of things". (Rom 12:2)

Use the book to prove the book.

Not really what I was doing. But for those who want evidence for the truthfulness/accuracy and reliability of the Bible (which I understand from your response you're not very interested in, as described at 2 Tim 4:3,4), here's some (it also uses the term "New World Order" in part 3; to tie this back in to the topic of conspiracies and what conspiracies the Bible exposes):
