Anyone else getting tired of the doom and gloom on TV? Did you ever notice how our movies today mimic the news? The news is usually horrible, murders, rapes, political unrest, wars, drugs, thefts, conflicts and drama in general. It seems most of todays movies are the same horrible news but the magic of Hollywood makes it exciting! Hmmm, might be a conspiracy there somewhere.

Anyway we should all be looking for a little comic relief these days...right?

What is your favourite comedy movie?

Who's your favourite stand up comic?

I don't really have an overall favorite. Some of my favs are Brian Reagan, Dave Attell, Mitch Heburg, Rodney Dangerfield, Carlin (from around 1990-2010) Richard Pryor, Jim Gaffigan.
Gilbert Gottfried did some killer stuff.

A favorite Carlin bit:

Gilbert:
Seinfeld Hamlet

George Miller (R.I.P.):

Joan Rivers who I tried to sell jokes to now & then. Every joke I've written on this site has been pulled down so I won't bother sharing.

Rather partial to the likes of Frankie Boyle, Kevin Bridges, Jim Jefferies, Michael Crawford, and of course good old George Carlin myself.

Forgot Dave Allen and Benny Hill, not exactly politically correct in this day of age all the same. LoL

Tough call...

Eddie Murphy of course.

George Carlin had something for everyone.

G. Carlin on Johnny Carson 1966.
This is comedy and doom in one.
youtu.be...

Yes Mitch Hedberg.... Gone way to soon like Bill Hicks.

My fave is the now lost Sean Lock.
