Yeah they dont fly from Romania. Those flights show up and are tracked below. It tells you where the aircraft departed from and it highlights the flight path. From what I have seen the bulk of the US surveillance flights come from Germany, the United Kingdom and Crete (Greece). The UK fly's from Cypress. The European assets, like France, Italy, Luxembourg fly from their countries bases.

As an example the flight - MMF18 (callsign) is designated as NATO and comes from the Netherlands - Eindhoven to be exact.

russia held an illegal election in another country, the results of that illegal 'election' mean nothing.

Only Ukraine can hold elections in Ukraine, not a russian invasion force.

Russia has been using the Nazis playbook so they might as well acknowledge they are also nazis. I mean they did ally themselves with the nazis in WW2 and assisted in the invasion of Poland.

Not to mention invading Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and stealing Bessarabia from Romania in 1939-40.

And then, the Russian leadership, in their bottomless wisdom, wondered why the Finns and Romanians were enthusiastic participants in the German invasion of Russia.

Russia's government is the guy with wandering hands at the cocktail party.

An explosion occurred at the Ministry of State Security for Transnistria. Looks like some used an RPG. There is thought it might be a false flag so Russia can start an invasion of Moldova.

Moldova's active duty military is between 5k-7k (Russia only has 1500 in country). However Moldova is a member of NATO's Partnership for Peace program.

If Russia get stupid(er) than every able-bodied Moldovan is a member of the military. Just like in Ukraine.

Invading Moldva would be a good way for Putin to force NATO's hand. There's literally zero way Moldova could resist Russia short of full blown active participation from majority foreign fighters with NATO provided weapons. Moldova's annual military budget is less than $30 million... The 50 largest US cities each spend multiples of that just on city police per year. Even if NATO decided to fully equip Moldiva like they'd gifted the Ukraine, Moldova doesn't have the people to use any of the gear.

That's actually a wonderful defense against the false accusations that Russia has "targeted civilians," isn't it? Kind of impossible to claim a death is a civilian death when said civilian has picked up arms and decided to play GI Joe.

Great... except as above, you'd still have but a fraction of the fighters the Ukraine has. Kiev has a larger population than Moldova.

Moldova are of Romanian ethnicity and speak a Romanian dialect - Hard to image Romania , which is a Nato member, allowing their ethnic cousins be invaded and brutalized by Russia

Romania has a fairly robust military Moldova may invite them in to resist any Russian moves.

Personally speaking NATO should declare a no fly zone over Moldova to dissuade Russian attempts to take the country.

They still completely outnumber the Russian troops in the country.

Moldova send in a application to become a Member of the EU on march the 3rd 2022.

They want nothing to do with Russia , they made their choice.
