With the end of the cold war Russia lost it's best brains to the west were they could earn more money and most of those highly skilled ended up in the US, Canada and other nations were they could use there skill's.

So incompetence is likely to play a large part as is antiquated gear Just as AugustusMasonicus think's.

Likely there has been a loss of Ukrainian expertise in Russia as well since many of there experts were born there and have family there.

Then there is the fact that those pesky Sanctions may have cut off access to some resources and item's that the Russians need, there headlong rush to create new weapon systems likely with little regard for safety and the fact that anyone with any intelligence in there scientific establishment is likely in private anyway against the current war and there rigged elections knowing that there short taste of democracy was just that a taste and nothing more since after Putin and the oligarchy had taken full control any semblance of democracy was false, they could live with it so long as there people had some freedom and so long as life was not too bad but since the sanctions and Putin's repression of anyone that goes against him and the undercurrent at least among some Russians toward a new fight for there democracy internal sabotage can also not be ruled out.

But western involvement, not likely in my opinion.

Russia's best weapons engineers, atomic physicists and other experts mostly left while they had the chance for better lives in the west.

Remember the intelligentsia of the former Soviet Union were also a hotbed of Dissident's against the former Soviet Union and so it is likely, very likely that any of them that remember those dark day's and see that there president is just another Soviet Chairman in disguise and taking there nation back into another dark time will likely also dissent against his rule and that of a state perverted to the service of an elite minority, this time the oligarchy but very much like it was to the service of the elite of the old Communist party, in both systems the common Russians suffer and with the sanctions AND the clampdown on there freedom's they are suffering again.

Of course it could just be an accident.

Apparently the azov nazis beamed theselves from the steel plant to this top secret location in tver in order to blow up great russian laboratory.

Probably using their tech in over drive n something overheated n caught fire. Or a missile 🚀

He/she, hit a bit of everything, 1 disgruntled person, who apparently got the ban hammer..and then a whoooole buncha times today. There have been a couple persistent ones in the last few months.

Sounds like there were two fires. One in Tver (space facility) and another in Kineshma (chemical plant).
