Wood-worm.

If it makes it any better.

Not a worm, but more like a wood-mollusk.

As if that ever saved the day.

Damn me too but it's been since the early 2000s since Ive had some really good ones. There is/was a restaurant in Mobile Alabama, the Epicurean, and damn they had some of the best oysters on the half shell Ive ever had. But I like sea urchins too the taste is just so fresh yet subtle

To be fair, you can't actually hunt an oyster. It's got no horse and no legs. It just sits there saying "Wait!!!"

I've only had oysters once, when I was young. Gunk. Give me crabs any day........ wait..

I'll say this if you get a bad oyster it will really put you off oysters for a while, lol mussels too.

Vajayjays in pickle juice LOL

I love them all if they are fresh and well kept, but if you get a bad one you remember it for a lifetime

Worms, you say. I say Grubs. I don't watch this show because it's dire, but this tells the story of the widgety grub.

Big, fat, slimey, but I'm fairly sure the locals eat the head too..

I get the ones with garlic. Oh, they put everyone off being near me, that's for sure lol.

Never had a bad one, but I buy them in store, those little plastic tubs. Mind you, I have a cast iron stomach, but a bum that runs on overdrive most of the time.... tmi!!

I have never seen sea urchins on any menu, even in Fremantle here, where you get all the seafoods.. Might have to have a walk around there and look into that. That place has the best food. When we won the America's cup, it was a thrilling place to be in. Now, mostly homeless folk, but the food, while pricey compared to the 80's, is still top notch.

Yip, and on average, guess how many grams of protein they have?

About 9 grams of protein!

Well edamame beans have 11-12.

But we're speaking here per oyster.
