NATO's Secretary General is correct on this and NATO pilots to fighting Russian pilots directly would mean you are at war.
Directly.

Apparently those pushing for such a no fly zone dont understand it.
Russia would see it as a threat and an act of war towards it.

A No Fly zone means not only pilots in the sky but boots on the ground. How many would be in favor of a further escalated conflict?
Its not surprising that the media and those protesting carrying signs "No Fly Zones" must understand it.

No-fly zone would require "massive attacks" on Russian air defence

There is a ceasefire.
The maps i had seen Russia had advanced in some areas quite further despite some suggesting Russia had issues. There are reports that Russia didn't even send their whole forces into Ukraine.

Some are cheering for this.

They wanted to shoot down Russian fighters since Syria...

Forget the no fly zone

This doesn’t end until Putin is gone, that’s the road we’re now on

My point is no foreign forces appear needed yet.
Imo the closer to the source the better.

I was referring to many in the msm cheering for NATO and/or the usa direct involvement.

The west, particularly US establishment clowns, are chomping at the bit to get involved.

With the withdraw from Afghanistan, coffers are running dry.

Every day we get one step closer to another war we cant win and cost more in blood than printed dollars.

If Putin is replaced, most likely the one that takes over will be much worse. I was happy when Putin came in, he had more common sense and wanted more diplomacy than any Russian leader before him and his replacement if he dies would probably be by someone with less desire for putting up with the west. Putin is losing his patients with Nato and the west because they renigged on promises they had made in the past, they have been pushing expansion of NATO for decades...and they have been targeting states like Syria which were allies of Russia by funding terrorist organizations.

This Ukraine "war" is complex, both sides of the issue are bullheaded and want power, I would say that some European country heads are more guilty of this escalation than Russia is. I do not like war, and I am not saying Russia is innocent, I am just saying it is more complex than most people know. Power hungry people want to control the whole world, and the west is actually desiring that more than Russia is now. China will be at war with us if Russia does fall, billions of people will die in a world war. If it didn't destroy so many innocent species of animals, I would have no problem with this.

I see a lot of problems with power hungry people in this world, too bad there are laws protecting countries from killing the leaders of other countries that actually start wars.

With the withdraw from Afghanistan

They keep saying that Russia was defeated by armed insurgency what they dont tell the public is that they were armed by other western countries.

Even our allied forces were defeated in Afghanistan recently. Hillary re mentioning Afghanistan was idiotic. Because that recently went well for us other western countries after 20 years...

I remember reading or seeing something along like that with Putin saying if he is replaced, someone much worse would be in power.

Some think they could pull off another Boris Yeltsin.

The idiots carrying signs only know what the media tells them. I doubt any of them think about what it's like for the pilots who would be involved in this. Or who could be affected in general.

...and a worse person has his finger on those Russian nukes instead. Think about it... Russians are a very patriotic people. They're watching the West screaming for their leader's head on a platter. If it happens, who do you think will be in control next? Maybe someone who promises the people revenge for Putin?

The CCP next

Nope. WWIII first, with China having the economic power and Russia having the best hackers on the planet. Everything in this country is dependent on China except oil and Russia has oil.

So, which do you prefer... baijiu or vodka?

Sounds to me like the West want to replace Putin with their own 'yes' man.
Maybe far fetched, but not out of the realms of possibility. Our own Deputy Prime minister in UK said this is going to go on for months if not years.
We are in for the long haul until objective is achieved.
Just my over simplistic view of things.

They are already threatening Russia and the Russian govt of trying to put another Boris Yeltsin.
Those who had been following Eastern Europe and Russia know one thing is clear when the Western countries cant defeat the Russian militarily they would try to replace the governments with regime change.

The younger generation in Russia do not understand what harm the Boris Yelstin polices had caused Russia it had made Russia weaker on the international stage.

'No Doubt' Russia Will See Regime Change: Khodorkovsky

Noticed how the media are giving air time to those who were Yeltsin advisers? of course they want another Yelstin.

Probably a good job there is a ceasefire as the utterly appalling Russian army can at least take a break from being slaughtered and their commanders incompetence. I think many people are surprised just how poor the Russian army is, but to those with a little insight it is no surprise at all.

And despite that, the Russian army is full young boys who should be at home, safe, drinking vodka and chasing girls. War is vile and ALL of these deaths are needless. They are ALL on the hands of one very small and pathetic man.

Russians are strong, brave, loyal and kind in general, a great bunch. They do not want this, nobody in their right mind wants this.

A lot of Westerners have gotten it into their heads that we can stop any nation from flying aircraft.

That's only true of nations that don't have nuclear weapons.

Just a small point, Russia does not have the best hackers on the planet. Not even slightly close in fact. They have a large number of very good hackers, the same as China for that matter. The US also has a large number of very good hackers. If you want the best, you go to Israel.
