Good. We should threaten China, over everything in fact.

I'm all for cutting trade with china. Better now than when they are too powerful to stop.

A complete decoupling with China preferably

Russia is literally back in 1958 and starting a new life with its supreme leader in Moscow Xi and China should follow not sure why mr 2022 Kremlin account thinks is so wrong with this

Washington may retaliate by cutting them off from critical supplies

I'm pretty sure the US is more reliant on China for critical supplies than China will ever be on the US.

Why is Biden forcing an alliance among our most powerful enemies? Do we really want ti P*ss off China, Iran and Russia all at the same time?

American imports food to China on the rise.

China is stepping up its purchases of U.S. farm exports, but it will not meet the ambitious sales goals of the “phase one” agreement that de-escalated the Sino-U.S. trade war, said USDA data on Wednesday. In a quarterly forecast, USDA analysts said China, the farm sector’s No. 1 customer before the trade war, will remain locked in third place as an export destination in 2021, behind Canada and Mexico.

“You’re not going to make it. The calendar year falls between $14 (billion in fiscal 2020) and $18.5 (billion in fiscal 2021),” said Joe Glauber of the IFPRI think tank and former USDA chief economist. “Their forecast suggests … (China is) going to fall far short of meeting their calendar 2020 target.”

Chinese firms have expanded their presence in American agriculture over the last decade by snapping up farmland and purchasing major agribusinesses, like pork processing giant Smithfield Foods. By the start of 2020, Chinese owners controlled about 192,000 agricultural acres in the U.S., worth $1.9 billion, including land used for farming, ranching and forestry, according to the Agriculture Department.

With Bill Gates owning 90% of US farm land and China owning not just land, but major agri-businesses and a US POTUS that seems to favor China over the US at times, I think the ball may be in their court.

Remember the good quality products made in US?

There still are, the issue is there are too many people who like cheap foreign imports.

China can get in line behind Russia to suck it, no one should be sad about either one of these totalitarian regimes.

Gates does not own 90% of farm land, he isn't even remotely close to being a top land owner. Stop spreading disinfo.

Sanctions on china, and stopping all loose imports regulations should have been done years ago.
That's one of the main reason the U.S. is so f_ _ -d up now.

You can thank "I'm not a crook" nixon for all of that, he started the whole shabang, him and unions.

The Biden Doctrine is to talk tough then run away, leave Americans behind, leave billions of dollars of equipment behind.

He'll do that with Taiwan, he'll do that with Ukraine.

He did that with Afghanistan.

I know math isn't a good subject on ATS but if you divide by 242,000 acres 897,000,000,000 acres do you get 90%?

He's also not even close to the largest farm owner, Stan Kroenke alone owns a 510,000 acre ranch.

A ranch is not farmland. Farmland is used to produce Food for people and live stock grown in the dirt. Not herds of live stock grazing on it or the feed for them there is a difference, whether you believe it or not.

Joe is pushing the world to not trust America

Sorry man but that really was the last guy.
Under biden we have strengthened our ties with our allies. You know all those globalist countries.
Do you really think that globalism was stronger before biden became potus. Or is it stronger now because biden is a globalist?
