Florida health officials to recommend AGAINST vaccinating 'healthy' children

So, some people in positions of authority actually have some common sense. I just do not understand how they have not been bribed, I mean convinced that vaccinating little children is not the best thing to do.

I doubt many will actually talk about the science facts in this case.

“The Florida Department of Health is going to be the first state to officially recommend against the COVID-19 vaccines for healthy children,” Ladapo said at the end of the roundtable discussion.

“We’re kind of scraping at the bottom of the barrel, particularly with healthy kids, in terms of actually being able to quantify with any accuracy and any confidence the even potential of benefit,” he added.

When asked about the move during a press briefing Monday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said it is "deeply disturbing."

Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo said Monday that the state will formally recommend against COVID-19 vaccinations for healthy children.

Children face little risk from COVID-19, with the CDC reporting that they make up less than 0.1% of virus deaths.

This means that the rollout of the vaccine for children under the age of five is being hampered by how little harm the virus does to the age group.

A study from the University of Utah last year found that 50 percent of pediatric Covid cases are asymptomatic. The study was performed before the more-mild Omicron variant emerged, meaning the risk for children to even feel symptoms is likely lower now.

Children may also be less likely to spread the virus when infected, with a German study finding that they release as little as only 25 percent of virus particles as adults do.

Data revealed by New York state officials at the end of last month also found that the shot was only 12 percent effective at preventing Covid infection for children aged five to 11.

If you get your child vaccinated for Covid-19, you've increased his/her chances for becoming sick over the next year (at least), not reduced it.

Child abuse and endangerment is what these parents are guilty of.

Florida is doing special things this year that are mostly flying under the radar.

For instance, last week they set up a special police unit to investigate election fraud and arrest perpetrators.

Good decision. Unlike some countries.
