That's an honest meme with a dash of humor.

Thanks for sharing it!

care,

That kind of resistance is long standing tradition in eastern Europe. The record is mixed. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

The Ukrainian adults are capable of making their own decisions. If they don't want to confront Russian military forces, they won't. But many seem willing to. Courageous people, far more courageous than a guy like Putin who has retreated to his bunker in the Ural Mountains.

Cheers

I said, if the assassination can start a war, it should be covert. Made to look like a NON-assassination death. We've sent the agencies a lot of money to develop techniques.

Obvious assassinations are OK if they save lots of lives without starting a war. The ISIS and IRAN terrorists are recent prime examples.

I agree. As with all things, let people decide for themselves.

What everyone sidesteps, is my question of if Zelensky is being irresponsible by encouraging his civilians to stay and throw Molotov Cocktails at Russian soldiers armed with machine guns.

This one needs to be done by Russian Patriots.

Absolute requirement.

They need to do it and immediately admit it.

Or their brainwashed population will assume that WE did it for decades to come.

A Russian citizen MUST do this without any kind of outside assistance at all.

The sooner the better.

It might not be a pleasant thought, but people need to
understand this doesn't stop with Ukraine.

The only real question is where is the line?

Would you stay and fight to the death in the face of such overwhelming firepower?

I would.

Homefield advantage is a big deal.

Poroshenko was demanding a no fly zone in Ukraine
asking why can you do it in Libya like in many other countries?

Do these former leaders know the dangerous of a no fly zone in the first place?

My wild arsed guess...

Ukraine will lose about half of the country, then other western countries will get more directly involved.

We all cheered when Musk turned on starlink but that now means all in color pictures and video of civies shot and blown up.

That I think will be the justification.
or with poland a few others invoking article 4, more troops will be sent to the border and try and get a jumpy russian or bealrus soldier to shoot at them so they will have causa belli.

So what you are saying is that Ukrainians should just kneel down on all fours, put their asses in the air, and take what the Russians care to give them? Gee, what country are you from I wonder? I see that you say that you are from the USA . . . wow! How would you feel if the USA was invaded and you were told to just leave and let it be taken? That you can come back later and see what has been put in place for you as far as leadership, government philosophy, ideology, laws, etc, etc. IF you are not a liar, and/or coward, I would think that you might stay and fight or resist as well.

I think it should be a free choice to do so , although the males are forced to stay they are not forced to pick up weapons.

Seen quite a few video's with males just protesting against the russians without weapons.

Again it should be a free choice.

I do think it is a good cause to stand up and protect your towns and villages against a armed invader by whatever means possible.

It used to be a normal thing to fight for your nation , when we where under german occupation they shot germans on the street and there was even a woman who seduced germans and then ended their lives.

But Cancel Culture came knocking , and now even standing up against a armed agressor that is bombing your countrymen is frowned upon.

EDIT : Some F%#$cker pointed a gun at me a few years ago in a attempted home invasion , that was quite refreshing and a huge life lesson wich taught me that no one will come to help you and if you don't act you are a lamb on its way to the slaughter.

It will happen the only question is how many have to die in Ukraine before it happens.

Thats the other side of things with having star link working, as the images come out of dead women kids and elderly as Putin tried to flatten each city, more pressure will be placed on the west.

To avoid war the next step will actually be to finish cutting off the russian economy as a last step before all out war.

least thats my wag.

Absolutely I would and twice on a Sunday. Mind you, being English, that’s not saying much as we’ve fought and beaten almost everyone, with and without support. So, you know, we’re a bit mad.

Personally, I thought they should've evacuated then come back and fought from within.

But if they were really killing civilians for bloodlust would those vehicles and tanks stopped by Ukrainians in the road have not plowed right through?

I don't get it, Putin is killing civilians, but every civilian is militant. Both of the these things cannot be true at the same time.

Do people fighting in civilian garb get the same protectioms as those in uniform?

Everyone expected that Ukraine's would roll over and let Putin take it like he take Krim by driving with tanks to Kiev. If that happened we would have cold war for many years.

Right now Ukraine is defending free world, Europe. That why I read 16 000 volunteers from other countries going to Ukraine to defend world. No need for NATO, people go defend on their own.

I think Putin underestimated a brave president Zelenskyy, no mater what his profession, he is the Man!!!

I would stay and fight. I would die for the love of my country and rights to freedom. While I respect those that would flee and hide as their choice, I would find it hard to accept myself as someone not willing to stand for their beliefs.

I actually agree with their pres approach

Daniel in the lion's den. We would prevail w God on our side. I wouldn't think twice.

Such is a prime example of "faith".
