I was surprised today when I read a thread with a comment saying the US should immediately get involved.

I do not share those sentiments. So let's hear it, where do you stand?
Lock the air and send the boys in, or wait it out.

I also heard on the news that right now the US is the largest charitable contributor to the refugees.
This was LITERALLY five minutes after they said MPS (Milwaukee Public Schools) are considering going to a four day school week
due to funding. That's a whole other story.

Back to Ukraine.. Yea or Nay? When I say involved I mean lock the airspace, send boots, we already know other things are probably already happening.

If you wanted things to escalate into a bigger one this is one of those conflicts and regions that is a gun powder.

Well the US government played it in a way so they can't.

Initially I would answer your question with "yes", because the US signaled support to Ukraine when it joined the mud fight, then let it stand alone for itself in the rain.

But knowing it will probably trigger WW3... please stay out US for once.

No way! Anyone who through maturity has seen a mad dog barking knows from experience take a wide berth around it keep walking don't look at it or annoy it........... Or you might get bitten (and from memory) by 6,200 nukes some 1,000 x each the power of Hiroshima

Ever play the "two for flinching" game as a kid?

Basically two dudes stand about a foot from eachother eye to eye. Taking turns faux lunging at eachother. Whoever reels gets to punches in the arm for failing.

Im sure thats what this was over Ukraine. Russia lost.

Deeper still, there are no good sides. Period.

There are innocents that are being killed. Period.

No, we Germans do it this way:

You stand in front of each other and fold your hands so the finger tips point towards the other. You approach until the finger tips touch. The younger one is allowed to start: You try to unfold your hand and slap the other one's hands as fast and hard as you can. If you hit, you can try again. If you miss, it's the other's turn.

That's done until someone gives up or is dead. Oh and no looking on the hands, look into the eyes, if you look away from the eyes the other is allowed to bitch slap you into the face one time.

Historically speaking, Europe is the murder capital of the world. Have at it if you will and suffer the consequences. That is all.

Militarily no. But America is already as involved as one can get.

I know a lot of generals look at that Russian 40-mile line of fat and juicy targets as being irresistible. But no, America shouldn't start WWIII over this, though it does look like some people are trying to entice America into a war.

The US ha been in plenty of wars and 'skirmishes' in my lifetime, with every one of them being the direct result of years of US involvement into another country's politics....for reasons that bring great financial benefit to the US.

The loss of life around the world as a direct result of American politicians is enormous, and it's folly to think the chickens won't come home to roost one day.

No way! We should just let Putin take what he wants or else he might get mad, throw a fit, and launch his nukes, even though he knows we would destroy the entirety of Russia in return. Appeasement works great . . . worked like a charm with Hitler . . . so why would Putin be any different. I am sure that he will be satisfied once he devours Ukraine, and I doubt he has NO other ambitions beyond these borders.
