CNN showed asking selected pollsters whatever NATO go to war for Ukraine.
The CNN overall 77% said yes.

Either the poll is fake, or the 77% of those asked in the poll are clueless or dumb.

i would say those people think they're safe and won't be nuked or worse.

Why the hell would the US want to go to war. As bad as the Russians are doing I bet even money the Germans could run their @sses out of there in about 48 hours. They really don't need us involved.

It's CNN. They probably polled their remaining employees and the family of rats living in the breakroom walls. Nobody else tunes in to those clowns. It's so ironic, they spent their last 6 years trying to turn everyone on Trump and Fox, yet Trump still remains extremely popular and Fox leads in ratings while CNN can't pull 6 households.

Sorry man, no they cant.

Merkel destroyed their military through budget cuts.

Their air force is gutted, their ground units are poorly trained.

I would wager the eastern block nations have a better military than germany currently, they JUST started to bump up their defense spending to 2% of the gdp in reaction to this conflict.

ETA: on topic, the people CNN polled are typically not the demographic that would chose to serve, so yea its people that think they are safe from war.

Nothing like Afghanistan, In this case the Russians are not on their home turf and wear uniforms.

Running the Russians out of Ukraine would be like routing the Iraqis out of Kuwait.

Those that say that NATO should enter the war with military force have not been paying attention.
NATO knows what it is doing and right now I believe they are doing all the things they can do without starting ww3

There is no good reason for the U.S. to go to war...especially since our main enemies are in our own Government.
