The ugliness the trucker convoy has exposed is surprising, I'd guess, to even some jaded already from two years of despotic overreach. At least I feel this way.

The HONKENING, the feeding homeless and clearing snow, the bouncy castles and hot tubs shined a bright spotlight onto the blighted "might-makes-right" posse.

That "ugliness" will be used against anyone who does not do what the government tells them to do. Those who are cheering on the government today, can easily be a target of government punishment tomorrow.

Those people don't care about rights, or civil liberties, they are cowards who live in fear of the boogeyman, very willing to give up their liberties, for the joke of a suggestion they are now "safe"

When a government target their citizens for protesting unfair practices is called Tyranny and this will not stop on those protesting, every time the TRUDEAU regime feels they need to punish the dissenters they will go after their back account, no taking the jabs, they will take the bank accounts, not following order they will take the bank accounts.

This Tyranny, some people just do not get yet, because they think is not affecting them.

Really depends on where you live. Isolated small town here...I guarantee you for a pop. Of 10k....there's at least half that in hunters.
There may not be many guns, but those who have them, know how to use them loooong range

Yeah it’s been a real eye opener. Never thought my country would turn into this.

It sure happened quickly didn’t it?

I lurked here since almost the beginning of ATS and didn’t join up until a couple of years ago.

My name Northofstuff seemed to fit then.

If I joined today I’d call myself Inthemiddleofstuff!

Crazy days, hang in there Violet.

That funny about your username. We never had anything like this before. This past year we’ve been on the international news quite a bit, I live near Abbotsford BC where the floods hit. I was shocked our roads got all busted up! Oh yeah before that it was the heat dome 45 C in June, unheard of where I live, hotter than Dubai they said, 700 people died of heat stroke, hundreds of pets too. Our supply chain is still catching up. It’s one thing after another. WildFires too. But this is unreal to me. We’re such a peaceful nation. The protests will continue I think. Our pacific Hwy crossing is closed, not sure if it reopened yet. It’s not like Ottawa or Windsor though. Could turn into that , you never know. We rioted when the Canucks lost a Stanley cup once and another time, I’m not sure what it was about but my daughter was downtown and horses were clearing the crowds. Never thought to say stay clear of the horses but she did anyways. Our Premier Horgan voted yes today,

Wondering that myself. I see so many people threatening to withdraw money from their accounts because they’re pissed off or they’re in fear of the siezed. Scary times.

I posted a link here maybe back in November 2020 that forewarned all of this. It’s not been exact but pretty darn close. Here’s the link: theirishsentinel.com... It’s about the.Great Reset too. “Trudeau going tyrannical” did seem somewhat absurd. Every now and then I give it another read to check on it. When we had the travel restrictions it was not Covid but our busted roads here in BC, only truckers allowed on. The rest of us were stuck not moving, so I thought ok they made this one about the climate but today I see there’s checkpoints stopping truckers crossing interprovincial if they appear to be driving to a protest. Bet their bank accounts got frozen today or will be. And don’t forget as you approach a checkpoint or border you get scanned and they already know if you do or don’t have a vaccine card on you. The QR code comes up.Makes it easier to assume you are anti vaxxer if they didn’t find one to scan.

Not one Western leader has condemned any of this

Let that sink in

This is what scares me.

Look how almost every leader or country has rolled over to the Covid narratives and policies.

I fear most are compromised or in terror of something. I suspect some that weren't compliant received "offers they couldn't refuse."

I can only guess that globalist are buying out countries government in order to push the global agenda, I am very sorry the Canadian politicians are not exempt when it comes to corruption, is every where, money flow freely these days to those that do not care about their own countries.

Next watch for the influx of immigrants to destroy the countries values and patriotism, watch how they will do like in the US to create divisions using the word racism and tag anybody that do align with the regime in charges views as racist.

It is an agenda, and we can see all now.

That's what these people don't understand. Unchecked powers, from censorship and surveillance to these emergency powers, can and likely will be used one day against people that didn't think it would be. Dumbed down populace who don't understand history and what the slippery slope looks like.

That's a very big point that I hope doesn't get lost. It's one thing for a country to have some internal issues like this, but to have this type of mess while other countries are dealing with the same issue shows that all of these countries are being affected through some consorted effort.

Exposing the group behind all this mess would bring an end to it all one way or the other.

The people behind this mess that think that they are ahead of the game right now should remember:
"Omnis Victoria Fugitiva".

"In tyrannidem insurgent"

“I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind.”

– John Diefenbaker, July 1, 1960 from the Canadian Bill of Rights.

John George Diefenbaker PC CH QC FRSC FRSA (/ˈdiːfənˌbeɪkər/; September 18, 1895 – August 16, 1979) was the 13th prime minister of Canada, serving from 1957 to 1963.

Apparently : the Canadian Bill of Rights didn't hold-up so well in court, and was replaced with the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms

This ain't over...

Canadians that oppose this should simply do nothing. Go about life as normal. Let him make his next move. Silent protest. Let the 30 days lapse and see what happens....

Fear is detrimental to your health and I see a whole lot of fear mongering from this. Don't give tptb that control. It isn't justifiable, and just as well unprecedented. But the world is watching. A small fraction of those who oppose have protested, if you think when push comes to shove, masses won't rise up? This fraction has driven a new rift in countries worldwide and it won't stop there.

People fear what they don't know. Do you know what true tyranny is? If the outcome of the sum of all these fearful posts is true, the reality will hit everyone else hard when they realize it effects them and those they love just the same. But Hold some optimism. Let the truth unveil itself instead of collectively manifesting the outcome you fear the most.

They have been egregiously misled by a tightly controlled media
I am positive they value their rights and liberties
So be it if we have to fight for them while they claw at our backs
