To keep russians from invading again.

.....or other unprovoked military action/invasion from a rogue nation against a member state.

Just for clarity

Nope.

Just to keep russia from invading again.

Only reason NATO ever existed, and that hasn't changed.

They/Them never give up power once they have taken it. NATO was never going to disband. This whole situation was just a matter of time. They sure as hell are not going to de-escalate either. Trump kept it at bay for four years but Putin knew it was coming eventually.

Possibly true.

But doesn't change the FACT that NATO only exists to discourage russia from invading again.

Why would NATO want to invade russia?

Because you said.

Just to keep russia from invading again.

You Want and prefer that NATO takes over all Eastern Europe, Belarus included.
You know that is not going to happen in reality.

Blockading Russia will hurt Europe more,LNG will be expensive.

Because there has NEVER been ANY evidence otherwise.

belarus IS russia now.

Will be treated like russia.

And will NEVER be allowed to join NATO after what they just did.

But yes, gas will cost more for a while.

Nobody cares.

Does anyone know how much of our oil we use for gasoline and airplane fuel we import from Russia? I heard on Bloomberg yesterday it was 20%? Wtf!!!!
If gas prices hit $10 a gallon how long do you really think the American people will put up with that?
I am just trying to be realistic. Are we prepared to go into a depression due to fuel prices over this conflict?
Have we game theoried out the blow black from these sanctions? I think the American people are not prepared for this.

I support Ukraine having freedom against this unhinged lunatic so please don’t misunderstand me but has anyone thought about this?

Btw I apologize to vNEX92 I was just making a general comment for the thread and this wasn’t directed at you.

Ask the other certain groups who are the ones escalating this conflict.

Of course they have. Thats the whole point. Bring down America and blame it on Russia sending us to war and both countries fall. Takes out the two most powerful countries that stand in the way of They/Them.

This has been predicted for 20 years or so. You can even find them admitting it if you look hard enough.

The ones pushing Ukraine. This had been in the works for many years now.
This conflict isn't a surprise for those who were following.

Those numbers are way off, if that's what they said. Historically US import of crude from Russia has hovered around the 6.5% to 7% mark. The last numbers indicate 6.7%

Per EOY 2021 Data

We have, and they may not be ready for it, but fighting for democracy has it's price and sacrifice....the one thing American's cant seem to muster the balls to do these days.

Australia as well. Initially, they were going to only send non-lethal aid such as medical supplies. They've since changed their initial stance.

No.

Nobody was surprised.

Everyone watched the troop buildup.

And some of us were reading putin's email.

Did you notice TWO things that occured on Dec. 4?

Do you believe in coincidence?

I don't.

You shouldn't.

Oh the time Russia used the FSB to blow up russian apartment buildings and kill russian civilians so he had a reason to invade Chechnya.

It’s already $6.63 cents a gallon in downtown L.A.
Won’t take much to get it higher.
