An Ontario Superior Court judge granted a 10-day injunction on Monday ordering an end to the incessant honking by truckers parked on downtown streets. Anyone who violates the injunction could be found in contempt, which brings stiffer penalties than regular bylaw charges. “It’s a big win, but it’s also a baby step,” Li said. “We really did deserve some peace and we’re glad to have some, at least for the next 10 days.”

sorry, but i would be just as pissed off at the horns and blocking of traffic that is being caused. people are supposed to have the [i[FREEDOM to move about without the streets being blocked. as well as to not have asshats blowing the horns while i try to live my life. they want to protest, fine. go find somewhere to park that doesn't block people's free access to the roads. and then go protest without interfering with the rights and movements of everyone else.
