Fox News Channel is against everything President Joe Biden and his administration promotes or endorses. Except if the Administration is predicting a war, or violent invasion.

In this case, it's the potential Russia invasion of the country of Ukraine. Regardless of what other world leaders, and the President of Ukraine says about the invasion not being likely any time soon, the Biden Administration has continually said the invasion is imminent.

The Biden Administration has been saying this for +3 weeks, and Fox News has reported what the Biden Administration says, even giving it front page importance on FoxNews.com many days, just as it is today, 2.17.2022:

In a tense U.N. Security Council meeting Thursday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned that Russia’s continued hostility toward Ukraine is a "moment of peril" and threatens global stability.

"As we meet today the most immediate threat to peace and security is Russia’s looming aggression against Ukraine," he told the council. "The stakes go far beyond Ukraine. This is a moment of peril for the lives and safety of millions of people."

"This crisis directly affects every member of this council and every country in the world because the basic principles that sustain peace and security – principles that were enshrined in the wake of two world wars and the Cold War – are under threat," Blinken added.

Question: Is Fox News corporation so in agreement with the Biden Administration on this one issue because...

1.) The Owners and Board Members of Fox Corporation stand to FINANCIALLY gain in some way from a Russia invasion of Ukraine?
-or-
2.) The Owners/Board of Fox Corp want to see President Joe Biden/Democrats damaged in some way?
-or-
3.) Neither of the above. It's because,____________________________.
-or-
4.) Both of the above...and then some.

CNN is hoping for a peaceful end. They're at least discussing it.

No consideration of a peaceful resolution from Fox's point of view. "Things are too far along", their hand-chosen experts say.

3.) Neither of the above. It's because,____________________________.

Of the facts on the ground and past actions of Russia in the region.

Ukraine and Russian-backed rebels accused each other of violating the Minsk agreements Thursday after a shelling incident in a town in the Luhansk region.

U.S. officials have not yet said who they believe is behind the attack but have warned this could be a "false flag" operation by Russia to justify a provoked response.

Moscow prompted further international ire this week after the Russian parliament urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to consider severing the international agreements by recognizing the breakaway regions as "independent."

Russia needs a reason to go in and creating a false flag attack would give them that reason.

Think of FOX & CNN like this: There's two management styles but one deep state.

When it comes down to it, FOX is serving the dark overlords too.

Fox News doesn't care if there is a Russia invasion? Is that what you're implying?

Interesting that this is all Biden's fault and nothing to do with Putin threatening a Sovereign country.

You seem to be so blinkered by your irrational hatred of Biden that you throw out the baby with the bathwater?

No , they're reporting on the likely method Russia will use to justify an incursion , if Russia recognises the Donbass region as independent and there's an "attack" in that region they have cause to protect the "independent" region of Ukraine , the rocket attack may be a means to an end to achieve that.

Nobody wants a Russian invasion of Ukraine but Russia may decide that's what they need to do , one bit at a time.

With CNN and FOX I sense internal conflicts.

1.) CNN does NOT want a Russian invasion, so Biden can take some credit for it not happening. On the other hand, like FOX, CNN owners have a financial interest in there being war. (Better ratings, higher stock prices, etc.)

2.) FOX DOES want a Russian invasion, so Biden will look bad...on several levels and ways. On the other hand, like CNN, FOX owners have a financial interest in there being war. (Higher stock prices.)

You're right about what they have in common, if you're referring to an increase in defense-related stocks. They say the CHENEY family made a killing on the US vs Iraq war.

Spot on, it is simply, what it is.. Fox is simply reporting the facts and developments as they unfold. I can't see that Fox has any skin in this game. However, it could be taken that if Putin blinks, it's a win for Biden which Fox pundits might see as a bad thing.

Biden's political goose is cooked. This thread has to do with why FoxNews only agrees with Joe Biden on this 1 issue...that War between Russia and Ukraine is (continually) imminent.

So if that's the only thing Fox agree with Biden on doesn't that tell you something ?
I think most people watching the situation unfold can see the direction of travel , at some point Russia will have to make their move because the only other option is to back down and Putin isn't known for backing down.

I pay attention to FoxNews/MSNBC/CNN daily. On the day when Russia announced a draw-down in troops. CNN and MSNBC went along with it, in a hopeful but cautious way.

Biden Admin said, "bullchit!". FoxNews said, "Biden says bullchit, don't believe it!"

Maybe Biden Admin was right. Who's right/wrong on Ukraine is not the subject of this thread.

It's just strange hearing FoxNews go along with Biden with all the Russia-Ukraine warnings, then pivot 10 minutes later back to its usual BIDEN SUCKS in all things mantra, for the rest of the hour. THAT is why I started this thread.

Frankly, I don't know enough about Ukraine to feel one way or another about Russia seizing the country.

Ukraine citizens don't seem to care much either. (FoxNews reporters over there are really perplexed by this!)

I don't see anything strange , Biden sucks we can see that from over here but that doesn't mean that the military assessment on what is happening in the region is any less valid because Biden sucks.

They care but they're not panicking , the citizens of Ukraine have faced the threat from Russia for years , I think they are just being stoic in the face of this latest threat.

Such a waste of your time IMO, but you are free to do what you wish, but I think it is quite insightful for the rest of us

So you're saying FoxNews really is FAIR and BALANCED, just like its mission statement declares?

Could be. Good point!
