Insurrection: The leftist media's new buzzword

Insurrection- noun - a violent uprising against an authority or government.

For those living under a rock the past few weeks, theres been a massive protest in Canada against the Covid mandates and regulations. And in true Canadian style, it has actually been one of the most peaceful and loving demonstrations in the history of protesting. Period. Every single non-journalist of the ground in Ottawa and the other Canadian areas of protest have described a scene of cookouts, laughs, families and children, community service. And the countless livestreams are clear evidence of this.

So if you refer to the definition above, the "violent" factor simply doesn't exist on any tangible level, thus making this event NOT worthy of the title, insurrection.

Let's rewind to the summer of 2020. BLM and Antifa riots certainly fit this definition better.

Violent? Absolutely. Assaults, hospitalizations, and murders happened during these riots.

Uprising? The scorched vehicles, buildings, and vandalism would say so.

Against an authority? Supposedly this was all in opposition to the police. ( an authority )

Or government? The rioters were all over DC for weeks. Many in front of the White House chanting for Trump's death. Many cases of vandalizing federal buildings across the capitol. MANY online threats of people claiming they were gathering a group to storm the White House.

Back to Canada. The pathetic MSM are at the point where they will cut off their pinky toe to have you affiliate the Canadian protests with white supremacy. The article linked above conveys the same message that all the smear articles from the last 2 weeks have.
I pray for their success of the Canadian peoples' protest as it has ramifications around the globe.

But ATS remember now, whenever the next BLM or Antifa riot happens, DO NOT let the media or your peers or your family get away with calling it anything other than an INSURRECTION if the actions fit the bill.

doesn't this solidify that the previous 2 years of BLM riots were also "insurrections" and those who participated, and facilitated them are guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors? I only ask, as the current VP bragged about donating money to bail out violent protesters who were arrested, arrested for taking part in an insurrection based on this.

politicians seem to be in panic mode, trying their best to enact less strict voter laws; if cheating doesn't work, and republicans gain majority all the laws and rules liberals have enacted would destroy them- by their won doing.

If you can honestly say January 6th was more of an insurrection than the DC riots of 2020, then I feel for you man.

The College Administration caved to the wishes of the SDS that they be represented. The speech was given by Hilary Rodham who later became Hilary Clinton. Two members of the Weather Underground who have been linked to the murder of a police officer have had a free pass. Bill Ayres and his wife Bernadine Dorn, who just happen to be considered as mentors by Barack Obama.

The very fact that that BLM fundraising has been halted in California and Washington state due to them refusing to file their taxes pretty clearly shows they were never operating in good faith.

One of their high ups bought $6.2 million in properties with BLM donations...and get this...in some of the WHITEST neighborhoods in the nation.
