They are Still Trying To Push Regime Change In Syria despite that the conflict that has waned down. With the Syrian forces and Russian forces that had regained and liberated much of the areas in Syria from the opposition groups and their jihadist allies.

The Last remaining forces of the so called opposition groups are held around idlib. With the heavy presences of Jihadist groups which are allied to the so called "Opposition Syrian opposition groups make new bid to unite against al-Assad groups"

You had these exiled members who had being in hiding in Qatar and Turkey now claiming that they make new bid to unite against al-Assad. This after 11 years of conflict.

Their meeting happened in Qatar and had claimed they would create a democratic state of Syria. Nothing says like a democratic state of Syria while you are in Qatar.

I dont think many Syrians would think highly welcome them after years hiding in Qatar in fancy hotels. While their Jihadist allies were doing most of the battling.

Syrian opposition groups make new bid to unite against al-Assad

Riad Hijab, who defected to the opposition when he was al-Assad’s prime minister in 2012, told the opening of the two-day meeting on Saturday that events in Syria were “grim”.

This defection was heavily influenced by western interference according to some reports that had being coming out of Syria in the past few years.

Hijab said it was “imperative” for the opposition to “implement effective plans” to counter al-Assad’s government and “to expose the false concept that Assad can abandon Iranian dominance”.

Good luck trying to counter both the Russians and Syrians. Trying to remove the Russians out of Syria.

Nothing says freedom and democracy while in Qatar.

If the Syrian Opposition groups and defectors Hijab had taken over they would have let Syria become much like the failed state Libya currently is.

I dont think there is much that this group can do.

Imagine having millions of dollars still looking to push for regime changes and knowing your regime change still failed. To both Russia and Iran is being geopolitical defeated and economical.

They will never let Syria became like Libya or to fall.

Russia stated once before. They already had placed their own red lines.

The moment Assad and the Kurds came to an agreement regime change went out the window in my very uneducated opinion.

Jihadist have been trying to wipe the kurds form the earth a long time, they dont have the stones to pull it off, with russia sitting there as well the rest of the world will stay for the most part hands off I think.

Edgar Cayce may have been right about Russia’s role in preventing World War III
The U.S. has been attempting to enter Syria for almost five years now, and the chemical weapons pretext has been in play since the invasion of Iraq.

We seem to be in a repeat cycle. Some kind of macabre Groundhog Day where no matter how many times we manage to survive the day, we keep waking up to the same twisted scenario.

Retired General Wesley Clark told us over a decade ago of the military plan to invade Syria, and now in the Syrian theater, the drive to force Russia into retaliation against the U.S. is deadly persistent. This would undoubtedly start a global nuclear conflict. Double plus ungood.

In 2013, I wrote an article regarding the Obama administration’s threats to bomb Syria:

For those interested in prophecy, Edgar Cayce had some interesting words to share on the subject. (From above link.)

n a series of what he called ‘World Affairs Readings,’ Cayce made many remarkable statements about the future of world finance, world leadership, collective spirituality, and interestingly the role that somehow Russia was to play as a force of right in the coming global turmoil that we see unfolding before our eyes today.
