When future prevents history -TT2022- writer

Welcome and sit down by the fire place,
while I tell you about some craze,
although not believe you must,
but time and space are also woven from trust.

There once was a hateful man, little, bearded, rose to fame.
He had a collected the best of science, to cheat and force time,
and build an appliance, a bastard child, mother magic, father science.

The bell, they called it, the monstrous contraption,
promised to jump time and location, on occasion.
So forth he went, the little man, traversing time and forging a plan.

After all the travel, before returning to his Lady,
to the future he went, 2088 -
btw, he choose that number because he's very evil and haty.

"All hail Hitler" he shouted when he exited the bell,
but the return from the people... well... they didn't take it well:

"It's all hail Fauci you old crook!
Take your strange tool and read a book,
the holy book of science to be precise,
so you don't look like a fool and be wise."

"Where's your ID chip, show it to me,
you too, must provide your identity
, in the end. But before you do that,
tell us your gender and pronoun,
so we do not offend."

And back he ran, the little Hitler,
to his bell-craft, hands in jitter.
"If that's the future of my Reich,
I shoot my self and beende es gleich."

And the twisted upside of that might be, how future idiocy,
could have spared us even greater historical tragedy.
