After nearly 9 years since Crysis 3 German developer Crytek have today announced they are working on Crysis 4 , no doubt Crysis 4 will use the new CRYENGINE 6 and look absolutely stunning but it's still early in development so if it can't run Crysis 4 you've got time time to rectify the situation.

Crytek have said the game is in the early stages of development so it'll probably be at least a couple of years away , hopefully the GPU shortage will have eased by then as more production capacity is coming online to meet the demand and RRP becomes a thing again.

At some point the Crypto bubble will burst which will also reduce demand for graphics cards.

Have you ever heard of ISMT training for the military? Back in the day when crysis the original was new and the question was out about running it at its potential I had a buddy that ran the ISMT and it would run very good on the ISMT training computer, that and halo LAN parties.

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode ?
Right click on the Crisis start icon, choose properties then the compatibility tab, start at Windows 8 and work your way down to see if any of them work.



If that doesn't work there's a couple of other workarounds here.
