If you are in the UK mates dont celebrate the easing of restrictions just anytime soon you know ever since WHO said that this isn't over yet you know the WHO and others want to keep pushing further with this charade.

Even the director of the WHO who had defended the Wuhan links of the virus. Is now moving goalposts still demanding more vaccination into other countries.

This is far from over. Massive Complying with them is not will end it. Even at 100% vaccination they wont end the restrictions, passports. They already stated before omicron that they would more variant names for future variants.

They already named another variant flurona.

GlobalNews had clearly edited the full video of the health minster speech.

It will not stop until the people upset with our current situation stop pushing back on the gov, and start pushing back on the useful idiot citizens arguing on behalf of the gov.

As long as you are tolerant of the school teacher telling kids to get vaxxed, local stores forcing you to wear masks, and police that are happy to enforce these made up rules, it will just get worse. The gov has no power in itself, you need to push back on the people who give them power. Until people start yelling at their neighbors who tell them to wear masks, and refusing to comply with the people telling everyone what to do, they have all the power they need to keep this going as long as they feel like.

Stopping this happens when people stop caring about offending people and start doing what we all know is right. There is no other way. The citizens who believe all this BS we're being sold are the long arm of the gov, and most of them are too ignorant to understand that is a fact.

Oh they have the new variant. It's called "stealt" omigawd (omicron). It's basically just another strain of omicron, but horror of horrors, it's super sneaky and can maybe re-infect people who have had the other strain!

Was anybody simpleminded enough to think that they were actually going to back off of this?

This is their game. I heard it compared once to driving a nail. You drive it home and deep, then you back off only to get ready for the next strike. This is what it's all about. I said as much in a post right after Boris backed down for a minute.

In my opinion, that's what's wanted. Then what? The media and those who are willfully ignorant and submissive simply have more ammunition to call us whatever they will. I personally feel ignoring the ignorant and holding our ground is best. Kill them with kindness, tell them we respect their right to have chosen what they have but kindly decline. Perhaps we start a movement to DONATE our 3 or 4 shots to underpriveleged countries whose vulnerable may truly need them. Does that sound like something a crazy, unempathetic soulless anti vaxxee would do?
If you care about others, are of adequate health with no underlying conditions, you should consider those who's countries can't afford the shots because our privileged countries have bought up everything before its manufactured. Sharing is caring

Just peacefully refuse to comply, and tell people masks dont work. That's all I want. Protest. The more the better.

Something that would be a great idea someone should do is create an add on for google maps or something similar that lets you know what businesses make you wear masks and which ones are sane. Create a crowdsource app or something similar where people let each other know if masks are required for real, or its just a sign on the door. Let's boycott the dumb business owners pushing this garbage.

Maybe in the boonies that isnt needed, but in urban areas like I am in it would be really nice to have.

I was just having a discussion with another member here about how they would be bringing restrictions back.

Of course they would, we all knew that.

I notice they haven't commented. Lol.

Any discussion of any UK political issue can only be understood in context: the most inept, self-serving, corrupt Prime Minister in British history and his inept, self-serving, corrupt government have their balls to the wall. Like any cornered animal, they will be very unpredictable...

My money is that there will be no more lockdowns, just mask mandates because the tories need the support of small businesses owners for the next election.

Locking down will lose them votes.

The tories never wanted to lock down in the first place, they were blackmailed into it.

Tony Blair left office years ago.

The tories are very predictable. They will put the economy first and will only impose minimal restrictions like mask wearing. Life in the UK has been 95 percent normal for a year now. And labor are in no position to take advantage of the situation as their own voters are the people who are hurt the most by these restrictions.

Johnson is the PM who saved the economy, got Britain vaxxed before France and Germany, and who stood up to the EU. His alleged crime is having a few drinks in his backyard during lockdown which half of London was doing at the same time. Even the leader of the opposition was filmed at a party around then.

There is always a solid middle ground in any society, I would say they are getting pissed by now. They are needed to make everything work in a modern society You can see it happening in the supply issue, times to get anything done. The cost of everything rises to the point where it is too expensive to even start. Modern society is complex and needs a lot of voluntary compliance if this is withdrawn, nothing will work. It is more like a goodwill issue. To top it all it looks like the Fed has stopped propping up the share market. You can keep printing money up to a point. But in the end, you only have so many skilled people to supply demand when it stops everything stops. The government has been running things on BS for a long time now, it will eventually blow up , because a New World order fantasy, is just another rich man's dream, to keep the wealth-power, and security thing in the club. It might be getting into uncharted territory now and nobody really knows what to do anymore, simply because the lack of direction is permeating everything with uncertainty.
