Well, I don't know about anyone else, but honestly, I pity everyone in the military that has to consider Biden as their "Commander in Chief". They are supposed to have confidence and faith in their chain of command, but I don't see how that would be even remotely possible. IMHO.

NATO sending fighters, ships to region; UK to withdraw some staff from embassy in Ukraine
On Monday NATO announced it has put its forces on "standby" while initiating deployment of additional ships and fighter jets to Eastern Europe. "NATO will continue to take all necessary measures to protect and defend all Allies, including by reinforcing the eastern part of the Alliance," NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in a statement.
"We will always respond to any deterioration of our security environment, including through strengthening our collective defense," Stoltenberg added, while discussing the ongoing Russia-Ukraine showdown, which the Kremlin has denounced as hype and based on false allegations it's planning an invasion. The Kremlin has further reiterated its plea for Western countries to stop the "hysteria", which itself is hyping the crisis further. One NATO diplomat has been cited in reports Monday saying the Biden administration is mulling a move to transfer some troops from Western Europe to Eastern Europe in the coming weeks.
Bidenâs comments come a day after the Pentagon announced on Monday that it is readying up to 8,500 troops to potentially deploy to Eastern Europe.
Most of those troops would help the NATO Response Force, a multinational force that the alliance could deploy on short notice. That force has not yet been activated.
Asked about what would lead to the deployment of the 8,500 troops, Biden said it depends on âwhat Putin does or doesnât do.â

A whole 1000-5000?! Oh, it's on now! We can surely stop this all from happening with numbers like that. That'll learn them Russian, Chinese, and all other comers that this is serious stuff! I heard they are sending a ship, and a couple fighters to somewhere nearby in April . . . deterrence at its finest.
