Why should Russia have more land area as it has now ? Are you Russian ? If Ukraine asks for help to defend itself who says it can´t ? Putin ?

Im only going to say this once, and it better sting:

AMERICA IS NOT THE WORLD'S POLICE FORCE.

It is high time to wean you people off our defense tit, there's mllions of able-bodied in Europe. Surely SOME of you can lift fingers to defend yourselves & your territories once in a while.

Otherwise, may the less useless fighters win.

Now get off your asses & prove one way or the other which side of that NATO line that applies to -- Russians, or those who Offshore their defenses to others.

This isn't about Russia wanting more land, it's about Russia stepping in to protect ethnic Russians in Crimea from a hard line government in Ukraine, and Russia reinforcing its borders in response to Western forces militarizing the borders.

Putin wouldn't be doing this if he wasn't being pushed into it by Ukraine and the US.

Except that those ethnic Germans weren't in danger from a hard line government looking to do a little genocide.

I think you're confusing the US with NATO.... The US can make no unilateral moves and we know that. But clearly we forced putin into amassing forces on their western border in some sabre rattling effort to let the world at large know that there's nothing they can do about it.

Who cares about ethnic Russians in Ukraine? FFS if theyre so damn ethnic let them GO to RUSSIA then and no more worries. But Ukraine has already said they wish to become a NATO state, and Putin, nor all of Russia has any say in whether or not they do. Furthermore as a member state they would enjoy the protections that come with that privilege.

Don't forget, if Putin wants a war, he loses too.

Russia intervened in Syria prevented Syria to fall like Libya and regime changing seems to be the only thing that the war mongers could have being doing.

You know what would had happened if US attacks Russia in Syria.
I would like the see war mongers try to do that.

35 is roughly 20% of their modern tank force.

And probably 50% of those that were functional today.

30,000 paperweights that mean less than zero.

They just can't afford the scrapping process.

What was that you were asking about BS?

There are not very many Crimean Tatars in Crimea, as they were deported en masse and ethnic Russians took their place. Ethnic cleansing during Soviet times, which eventually paved the way for Russia to annex Crimea. The number of people with Russian heritage, or speaking Russian, is part of the formulae upon which Russia is currently stating its claim to parts of Ukraine under the policy of Novorossiya, which is basically all of South Ukraine.

Ukraine is a sovereign nation and free to choose who it speaks to. In 2014 Ukraine decided to lean towards the West, just like all the other ex-Soviet vassal states who suffered for decades under the jack-boot of the USSR. Now Ukraine has to suffer the attention of a belligerent Russia, who don't seem to understand what a "good neighbour" entails.

Just think... If Russia were nice neighbours, then all those nations under their heel would have stayed in their sphere. No, they all ran to the West.

This is a manufactured crises.
The biggest hoax since the WMD hoax in Iraq.

USA and Ukraine have an agenda to expand NATO to Russia's doorstep

When East Germany collapsed in 1989 USA wanted German reunification, but under terms of the 1945 Potsdam Agreement USA needed Russian agreement to change the borders of Germany otherwise USSR was legally entitled to invade Germany again. USA gave Russia an undertaking if Germany reunited, NATO would never expand eastwards, but they lied by admitting Hungary and Poland into NATO.

For Russia, admitting Ukraine into NATO is the invasion of Russia so this only ends in World War 3

Nonsense.

We have zero interest in Ukraine, other than helping them defend themselves from russians.

We are not there.

We have not been there.

We have promised not to go there.

We have kept that promise.

Because we don't have any interest in Ukraine, other than the russian forces threatening to invade them.

And you are forgetting the unbelievably horrible abuse Hungary, Poland, and East Germany suffered at the hands of russia in the half century after Potsdam.

Along with the slaughter of 10s of millions of Ukrainians in the decades before that.

russians are no longer welcome there.

Ever.

This is often quoted as fact, but is highly disputed. In fact, Gorbachev has stated that NATO's expansion was not even discussed. The gripe is that NATO expansion went "against the spirit" of the agreement, which included the UK and France, so not just the USA.

For Russia, admitting Ukraine into NATO is the invasion of Russia so this only ends in World War 3

This is a red herring. Besides, Ukrainian membership of NATO is a long way off and is up to Ukraine to decide. I guess Russia has committed so many crimes against Ukraine that it's gone beyond the "let's start again, luv".

Russia has built 6,200 T90 tanks since 1992, of which 5,200 are in storage and 100 were delivered to Egypt. 186 were delivered to India.

35 Russian tanks at Yelna make up just 1.35% of Ukraine's tank forces. Ukraine has 2596 tanks opposing 35 Russian tanks at Yelna.

It is you who is full of B/S

T90 is worthless against NATO.

Target practice.

We have much longer range, shoot on the move, and 99%+ single shot kill rate, while NATO tanks have active defenses for at least the first few shells in case any russian tanks sneak into range, and the newest ones are nearly impossible to hit.

Israel recently destroyed an entire arab (russian) division with 2 tanks. Had to send a runner 10 miles back on foot for fuel & ammunition due to russian jamming, but the entire division was destroyed by the time reinforcements arrived.

Those were mostly t72, but that wasn't out newest gear either. Almost 200-0. There is no longer any doubt.

Only T14 has any chance at all against NATO, russia only has 160 of them, and half of them look like they've already been stripped for parts.

T14 is what russia sent to Ukraine

We probably wouldn't even use any of our tanks against them anyway, 4 planes could easily destroy all 80 that haven't been stripped for parts in an hour.

BTW... 'storage' for tanks means waiting to be scrapped.

T90 is good for population control, but worthless against NATO.

No. This was after the euromaidan regime change in Kiev which removed a democratically elected president in Ukraine. Yanukovych.

free to choose
Not when you have a puppet directed by DC, NATO EU how can you claim free?

Ukraine is a sovereign nation

It wont be once it joins NATO, EU. Look at Greece, Italy for what happens when you join a sphere of influence.
