I heard about this on morning news. Actually it said 3000 or more hamsters were killed to stop the spread of covid from hamster to humans. Guess this is some serious stuff in Hong Kong. I know most Asian school kids keep hamsters as pets. Going to kill that industry fast.

Hong Kong will put 2,000 hamsters to death as a precautionary measure after one pet shop worker and several adorable little rodents tested positive for the Delta variant of the coronavirus last week.

The horses are already out of the barn, little late to close the door.

They have found covid in wild animals, killing pets will accomplish nothing.

Probably the same test kit that claims your pet rock has covid.

I would agree with you. I am sure the test kit would test your pet bird or dog positive to.

Even a car? or tank?

wild animals, zoo animals, and domestic animals such as cats, dogs, and now hamsters. they gonna kill every animal, like bats, the thing they are putting the blame on for starting this whole thing. just where do they think most of these animals (excluding their bats supposedly), got covid from? most of these animals would be getting covid from the humans they interact with and have contact with in the first place, and not the other way around. just look at zoo animals for example. considering they are generally locked up, with many even secure in buildings, thus the only things that could infect them is humans, it doesn't just magically appear out of thin air.

This reminds of one of my friends. His daughters hamster got cancer, the vet wanted ..I can't even remember, the point is, it was a bit of money. So he takes the hamster home, lets the daughter know his time has come. My friend had the weird idea, he could put it to sleep with car exhaust
you know, how people go, peacefully go to sleep. Uh nope, it wasn't peaceful, it was not at all peaceful, poor thing eventually stopped flipping out.

I'll never forget that. This is my only hamster story.

i think the things that need to be put down are them.

don't know who THEY are? no matter, start at one end and keep going.

they owe us several million lives anyway.. let's see who is wiped out first, the Vaxies or the Uns.

some men just want to watch the world burn.

it's been a good run. maybe next time, eh?

FYI ATS,

I just rubbed noses with one of our family hamsters.

If I don't post again suddenly, you will know what happened.

Remember, I'm a Covid-19 recoveree. (www.cdc.gov...)

If hamster-based Covid-19 finishes me off, that will be BIG NEWS!

I killed a hamster once, didn't mean to do it though.
My sons pet hamster little bastard bit me one day while I was petting and feeding it. I thumbed it on it;s head hard. It rolled over kicked a few time and died. Never have lived that down.

Bonus points if you can guess the above reference.

I stepped on a new born kitten while walking to the bathroom in the dark....

It died.

I'll never not hate myself for that.
