If taken to court, Texas' executive order probably won't stand up. Plus, Texas is an employment at-will state. The executive order conflicts with that.

Yeah but what business in Texas is gonna even try?

I seriously doubt it too, in the current climate absolutely no way.

if it's gonna happen it will be a business in Austin, however

Lol
The only thing the attempted government mandate accomplished was to rally those who value individual rights.
They are still a majority in Texas, even in Austin.

Evil or not, they have done some damage the last few years for tyranny. This ruling is for less Government and more freedom. Just what this Nation was setup to provide.

I agree with you.

There were no mandates for TB, Flu Shots. Even though Flu killed more people every year and Flu was even more dangerous for the young/elderly.

Why push mandates, passports with this virus? these mandates can ruin people's liability and rights.

How does it not conflict with Texas' at-will employment status. Abbot's mandate isn't a law it's an executive order. The whole point of at-will employment is that an employer can terminate an employee for any reason as long as it's not illegal.

Since Abbot's EO isn't a law it is therefore not illegal to terminate someone based on their vaccination status.

This is good news... bad news for the healthcare field that receives Medicare and Medicaid payments from the federal government.

Prepare for return fire, those leftists hate it when they don't get their way.

It's going to be interesting to see how this goes forward as the case continues to wind through the lower courts. Will the feds try to adjust the wording, get Congress to pass an emergency OSHA rule? Or will they again, this time in unity, throw up their hands and admit that there is no federal solution to ending the pandemic?

Yeah, you keep thinking that.
It has been challenged in court, and remains.

P.S.
Try to fire someone for not disclosing private medical information.
Lol

A few years ago, my Mother's doctor stopped taking Medicare patients. My Mother was sort of grandfathered in, but she had additional insurance.

This may backfire and I hope it does.

CMS and and insurance companies should not be dictating to doctors how to treat their patients.

If an accounting degree is more important than their medical degree, maybe they should be the ones cutting off the establishment, instead of the other way around.
