I do know that old networks are losing viewers and alternative news are growing massively. Joe Rogan is massive. Timcast, a YouTube-based news source, has been getting far more views than CNN gets on TV (CNN only gets more on YouTube because the site props them up.) Daily Wire is massive. Infowars and We Are Change are doing very well. Fox News has been doing better, mainly because of Tucker Carlson. Blaze TV is growing, and similar conservative leaning networks.

That remaining 10% is scary. Those folks are either total idiots, completely brainwashed or entirely evil.

That is basically just the Hotels and airports that CNN pays to have their TV's default to CNN if you ask me.

The scary thing today is that all these huge companies are interconnected with other forms of income.

So when people stop watching and no money is to be made they can stil run the company with outside wealth.

A long time ago when people stopped watching the company would naturally fail.

Today things that are rejected by the public can still be rammed down your throats because these big companies own so much more.

So back in their heyday about 900k viewers, that's what 90k today? MSNBC was 2+ million in their heyday.

Looks like MSNBC is declining fast to. FOX news slightly holding its ratings.

broadcast television has been dying for a decade now so this isn't exactly surprising, probably has nothing to do with politics and many likely just watch it through youtube or some other online service.

Any business with a single product is destined to die. CNN got to the point where Trump was the only news they spent time on. With Trump out of office, what's left for CNN. If they had the good busines sense, they'd start in on Biden. Win folks over from FOX.

Good, they might actually be worse than CNN with the extreme race hustling hosts, like lack of Joy Reid
