I am well aware of this game we are forced to play.

It's going to serve as inspiration for my first art piece.

It's a painting of a pig standing on a pile of actual change glued to the canvas with a Nazi band around it's arm but instead of a swastika symbol in the center, it'll be a dollar sign.

So far in Montana we are safe but, if the state caves and employers do as well my union is offering us to go to different jobs that do not require it but how long will we be able to do that? I’ve already told my dad that if things get to the point where I have to get it I will quit and pull my annuity thats accumulated since I’ve been in. I don’t have any kids or S/O so right now my back up plan is to build a camper van and hit the road! I can work lots of under the table jobs doing construction, hand work and whatever else. I’m not too worried about it.

Well that's his claim anyway, however a little bit of investigation suggests the idea of him running a lab or having several employees seem highly unlikely.

Health care is already having problems. They can't find staff because they've already implemented the mandates.

Too much crap for people to bother with.

I'm covered for now, but the insane rules surrounding what is basically a nasty cold at this point are enough that it starts to make me question the need to keep going in. They make you sit out on your own limited PTO for five days if you might be exposed or call in sick for any reason, and you can't come back without a negative test. Thanks to people like you who test everyday, those who really need tests can't find them either.

If you're perfectly healthy and are taking up one test every day during a time of shortage and someone who had it can't get the test to prove they're clear and they're sitting on their butt unable to return to work and eating up their PTO or worse, not getting paid ...

You tell me how that's hurting them. You have their test and no real need for it.
