a lot of the people who are refusing to get vaxxed are actually home help, or staff in care homes or clerical positions

100% vaxxed Gibraltar is getting infected and many of them are ending up hospitalized.

We're talking about people who are following decades old heavily debunked conspiracies that things like the Polio vaccine were being used by the CIA to sterilize Pakistani women.

There are children and women in India who might disagree with you there is a reason why you're beloved Bill Gates is disliked there.

Yes, vaxxed people can get sick too, big shocker. This has been made clear over and over again, it's why you still need to wear a mask and to socially distance even after you've been vaxxed. Covid is a respatory virus, you can't 100% vax a respatory virus with today's technology.

And I'd very much like you to provide a link explaining why your believed Bill Gates is disliked in India, could it have something to do with his software company using it's US based money to muscle Indian companies out of their own markets?

Well, speaking as somebody who isn't involved in vaccine research or production, and who has no financial interest in the companies that make them, I'd be interested in knowing why you'd rather take the word of a lifestyle blogger with an online degree in gender studies over the word of someone with actual knowledge and experience in the field?

Or at the very least why you'd trust someone like Alex Jones or David Ike to talk about covid rather than a professional statistician who can use methods that you can repeat for yourself to determine that they are false?

Who's more qualified? A doctor who has been working in ICU on covid patients for the last two years or Sajid Javid?

Why do you persist in filling these boards with nonsense? We can anticipate your diaphanous objections so please do everyone a favour and go away.

There, corrected it for you

Whose more qualified, Sajid Javid or the hundred or so advisors that he uses to make policy?

Each of the experts i listed signed the following declaration. Pick me apart? In what fantasy land is there any comparison between our intellect?

"The Great Barrington Declaration – As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.

Coming from both the left and right, and around the world, we have devoted our careers to protecting people. Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice.

Keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.

Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza.

As immunity builds in the population, the risk of infection to all – including the vulnerable – falls. We know that all populations will eventually reach herd immunity – i.e. the point at which the rate of new infections is stable – and that this can be assisted by (but is not dependent upon) a vaccine. Our goal should therefore be to minimize mortality and social harm until we reach herd immunity.

The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection.

Adopting measures to protect the vulnerable should be the central aim of public health responses to COVID-19. By way of example, nursing homes should use staff with acquired immunity and perform frequent testing of other staff and all visitors. Staff rotation should be minimized. Retired people living at home should have groceries and other essentials delivered to their home. When possible, they should meet family members outside rather than inside. A comprehensive and detailed list of measures, including approaches to multi-generational households, can be implemented, and is well within the scope and capability of public health professionals.

Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity."

You do know not everyone is anti Vax or pro Vax right? Thats the first place I'll start with your oh so insightful post. I'm not vaccinated but I'm not anti-vaxxxxxxxx like you try to make us all seem. You do realize, and if you have the balls you'll acknowledge this, some of us don't give a # about the health choices you make. If you're pro-choice you're either pro-choice all the way or you're just another "rules for thee but not for me" type and we have enough of them already. So if it's your body and your choice will the script gods both ways there buddy. If youre anti-choice well then you have a leg to stand on.

2nd. If you listened to the doctor objectively you'd see he isn't pro-vaccinne or anti-vaccine either, he's just bringing up points our politicians on the global level will not answer. We don't get a chance to confront those making these decisions very often. They're supposedly "of the people" but access to them is all but impossible for those who oppose their views. So all this guy is doing is bringing important talking points to the table that our governments won't discuss or look into objectively. So of course his focus is going to be on the idea of requiring 16 booster shots so we don't get sick, that's an insane notion. A booster every year has turned unto 6 months err wait is it 3 months or 2 or is it 1 now? The narrative changes and changes and changes and people who took the vaccine are getting fed up. Acknowledge this. It's not just pro or anti anymore it's starting to get to people. Stop the divisive language and focus on the crux of this issue, the vaccines failed in eradicating the virus as it stands today, big pharma seems to be happy with what they have so no future vaccine to eliminate seems on the horizon. So its time to focus our efforts where they matter. Alternative treatments, care and prevention especially for those who are most at risk. The thing is people will get sick and die , reality. It's one of the guarantees we have in life, we are going to get sick. We have an immune system for a reason.

3rd. All studies are pretty much funded by big pharma or the government, who is essentially big pharma. How can they be objective in their research when they have a dog in the fight? Why is anyone who goes against the narrative a bad scientist or a quack or a loon, why not just look at it as more science, more options, and alternatives worth exploring. It's time we fight this multiple ways, this 1 size fits all approach with the vaccine is a failure and it's no one's fault, it's mother nature. Mother nature will do what mother nature wants that's that. This virus was always going to mutate and continue on. Time to live with it.

Also if you give me the stupid argument of "how is it your right to get me sick." Or the generic for the common good argument, I'd say, do you drive a gas vehicle? If so or anyone around you does, friends family, you should see what communities are like around those refineries and then think about how many you sacrificed for your vehicle. If you use electric, not wind or solar, read about how that energy is made and what lives are like for those people. You'll quickly realize our self righteous attitude can be thrown out the window and you'll realize we're all #ing hypocrites. Some of us can just accept that reality while others are delusional thinking they're better because of this or that.

Maybe you shouldn't discount this doctor so quick. Maybe listen to the things he's saying and his concerns. It's not always about pro or anti, it's sometimes about what's practical for all. A truly inclusive way. Not a my way or the highway but we're all inclusive and understanding. Get over that attitude. There's 7 billion + people on this planet, you know what that means? There's 7 billion+ different attitudes and you or I don't know, and don't have a right to say whats best for anyone else but ourselves.

Since they're not supposed to be experts in the subject I hardly think that it carries any weight, wouldn't somebody with a qualification in an earth or space science be more appropriate?

Tell you what, I'll just pick some names at random from Linkedin who have PhD in relevant topics and tell you that they're into flat earth, and then challenge you to prove that they aren't. That's how you usually do it, isn't it?

Still won't change the fact that the gut in the video is a member form a tiny tiny minority. You only need to watch programs like Skinwalker Ranch to demonstrate that smart people can believe dumb things.

What is javids nationality?
Why is he in England?

What are his credentials?

History has shown such nationalities to have poor health care.
While others have extremely good heath care.

Like the mayor of London, they dont seem to be a part of the English culture. Their actions seem to be at odds with english tradition.

He is English having been born in England.

He is in England being a serving government minister and living here.

His credentials are he has been a MP 11 years and a minister for 7 after an apparently very successful private sector career.

What nationalities are you in about? He is english.

He has been a member of the conservative party 30 years, what more part of english culture do you want?

I can't Imagine he has much in common with the major of london who us in a different political party. Well other than a couple of things that you seem to have issues with.
