Taiwan and the CCP is a WHOLE different ball of wax than Japan and the CCP

we are on the edge of peace or a MAJOR conflict that will make WWll look like the US civil war as far as the jump in tech and the new weapons we don't even know exist or cant imagine.

Taiwan was under British control for along time and back in the late late to early 2000's the UK gave it back to china.

so in that case there is more of a legit claim to Taiwan as it did belong to them, it's clear no one wants to be under Chinas rule.

the real problem is all these weak world leaders including Biden bow to Xi.

IF Biden told the fleets and ground and air forces to stand down when japan was getting HAMMERED i think Biden would lose control of the military as it would be an illegal order, Biden and hid family haven been bought and paid for.

Agree 100%.

IF biden gives that stand down order, and the military doesn't immediately remove him, WE will.

Without that stand down order, SK, Japan, and Australia are shielded and have immediate MAD ensured against ccp.

Yes, that what I thought: fascism. Instead of hating the guy because he oppresses the population, he hates the guy for being fat and throwing a couple of missiles into international waters.

I hate fat people when they’re surrounded by a bunch of walking skeletons suffering extreme malnutrition under the constant threat of AA-gun extermination because they didn’t smile wide enough, made negative comments about the SOB or dared to question the socialism that has killed millions.

I’m fat. But I didn’t get there on the backs of others. No, this belly was all hard work and dedication 😊 No one was harmed in the making of this gut

Agreed

And if Trump had seized the day, we could’ve conducted a surprise attack on the CCP when the virus first leaked from the WIV

That's comforting. I invite you to have some taedonggangs. Taedonggang is the top beer brand of North Korea, you know.

Just a thought, what if Taiwan has nukes no one knows about?.

They have at least four nuclear power plants and that means they have the ability to enrich uranium?, have they already done so in secret?.

There is no EVIDENCE they have nukes but they do have more than the necessary level of technology and the ability to do so.

So what if and if China one day invades they give Beijing a wake up call they won't forget?.

the crazy thing is a lot of the people BELIVE the BS, like truly believe it.

that's what makes NorKor scary, the leadership of NorKor are hardliners and if the US or Japan even did tactical strikes to take out the leaders or nuclear sites they would respond by leveling Soule

NorKor has SOOOO many artillery pieces sighted in on a Soule with a population close to 10 MILLION people and they have found tunnels that go UNDER the DMZ

the claimed amount of warheads they have is around 15-20, depending on now pig they are imagine a team moving a medium kiloton range(2-400KT) in the city, most of Soule would collapse into a radioactive crater dumping fall out on the survivors that for a good amount of time would have to fend of them self.

and after that knowing the US/UK/AUS/JAP/NATO are coming to remove the power structure of NorKor they would use all of the nukes and artillery to destroy as much of they could, and open passages in the DMZ to clar mines and other man made obstructions

and if you think the leaders wouldnt order their NoKor armed forces to march into deadly fallout, i have a bridge to sell you.

Japan has two launch centers NASDA liquid fuel rockets are launched from Tanegashima, while ISAS solid-propellant rockets are launched from Uchinoura. Korean war ended in 1953 and Japanese space technology probably developed bandwidth shortly after that. All those rocket booster stages made big splashes downrange.

Said it before and say it again. NK would be the perfect place for the US to fund and create a new manufacturing staple and save the people. I truly think this is what 45 and Rocketman talked about. NK could be the huge......Imagine the US on their border. It is a new age of crazy and they do not want to be left in the Stone Age anymore. (side note - His sister is nuts)

Problem is China does not want that as they like the crazy man in office. Deflects from them quite often like....

now..LOL

The orbital insertion oversight dictates the launch windows but launch corridor security politics are still classified.

The choice of location has two implications. Tongch'ang-dong is about 114 kilometers (70 miles) northwest of the capital Pyongyang, and about 47 kilometers (30 miles) south of the border with China. It provides North Korea with a southern launch corridor that avoids direct over-flight of neighboring South Korea and Japan.

Anyone really competent to weigh in on the subject wouldn't be laughing.

that's if the launchers care if their booster or whatever hit other sats.

maybe that's the goal.

imagine NorKor detonating a few neutron bombs in orbit creating mass chaos and now defunct sats would create a debris field to take out masses of sats.

why use one ASAT missile when you can use one nuclear tipped asat to take out whole orbital bands of satellites.

No neutron bomb is necessary for near earth satellites, and would only affect 1 military sat at a time because their higher orbit keeps them so far apart.

One warhead full of BBs could take out nearly ALL near earth orbit sats (exaggerating a little on this, but you get the point).

OUR military sats have a MUCH, MUCH, MUCH higher orbit, are maneuverable, and 'may' have other self defense mechanisms on board.

Each of our high orbit military sats also has multiple backup sats, some never even powered on until ww3 breaks out, to keep them hidden in the darkness until needed, and are a significan part of how we ensure MAD against every enemy on the planet.

well all satellites are hardened and some new ones have some pretty cool 'object avoidance' so a neutron bomb or if you want to get fancy and think NorKor has cracked how teller made his 'Excalibur' aka multibeam xray laser that also detonates a LARGE and xray heavy nuclear bomb.

but you could just bring a bag of ball bearings up in a small sat at when it hits orbit it spins up and releases 10000's of ball bearings and we would have a heck of a show when all the satellites reenter

the US reliance on satellites is our weak spot, I know some ICBM's have emergency comm sats. instead of a nuclear payload but still.

space gets scary when people start PERMINATLY removing orbital access

we are on the brink already

we are one misstep in the east from WWlll today, sadly.

the first shot from any opponent of the US and NATO will be a ASAT attack. If they can take out even part of the communication system the military uses will cause MASS confusion and mistakes that will slow the US and even worse.

and yes GPS and other high value military sats are in high orbits, how did they get there? a missile with only a warhead can get up to those orbits and if not lasers can, and that is assuming other systems aren't already in orbit.

let me ask you, do you think that SDI really ever stopped? it may have been reigned in a bit but it never stopped, what are all these super secret launches carrying. The NRO, NSA or the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) already have saturation so slipping a few asat weapons into orbit on these sats or other wise like the Russians and the sat that released another smaller sat that was un accounted for before launch.

the AF and now Space Force would be negligent if they were not protecting our orbital assets.

systems like BRILLIANT PEBBELS but in a much smaller footprint and more accurate and more devastating hits on targets.

i have seen things camping and even in my back yard when i was watching the sky that zipped around the sky like water on a hot plate

i would love to be on the space station to see what is really going on up there, i think its getting pretty busy.

i would also love to see what that Japanese guy had to sign to go up, and i wonder if they will enforce any times when he has to not be around a window.

Not all space debris is actual debris, and not all space junk is really junk. Actually, some of that space debris is one of the most technologically beautiful creations.

i doubt that

Soule might be a lost cause already if war breaks out

that being said alot of IC chips we NEED for our phones, computers anything with a chip is made there

we also have alot of us service members there if a war on the peninsula did happen Soule would be devastated by artillery and chemical weapons.

norKor uses chemical and nuclear as standard military doctrine so they opening shots would be with these weapons and they might try and get a larger order emp blast high in orbit to degrade NATO's ISR and communications

i believe they might even release bioweapons as the regime collapses
