Thank you for your effort! I've been trying to get through to friends, family, and co-workers for several years. Recently I reached the point where I gave up trying with them. With all of my facts, patience, articulation, and reasoning, it all fell on deaf ears. Everyone I knew who hated Trump still think he's an evil racist. I did succeed in convincing my parents that the media lies, but they are still fearful of the virus and believe in all the lockdowns. I'd might as well yell at a wall. I've learned it's better to share info and encouragement with those who are paying some attention and seem to care somewhat. I wish there was more I could do.

Same problems here in New Brunswick. I've been on a waiting list for a doctor for 5 years now. Last year they called me to ask if I still needed to be on the list. Hospital emergency wait times were ridiculous before the pandemic. The worst for me was 11 hours. I finally gave up and walked out. Since then, I go to clinics instead. The healthcare system was always underfunded but it got worse when politicians started allowing the elite to have their own private hospitals. I believe this started under Paul Martin and accelerated since then.

I witnessed the death of a small town in Nova Scotia, families breaking apart to find work elsewhere because the town Council never gave a damn about them. They kept many businesses out of town which might compete with the town's old companies. I considered running for office so I could clean it up! Some people said they'd support me, but in the end I decided against it because of the defeatist attitude. Everyone seemed depressed and given up. I just didn't feel enough people would bother to vote for change at all anymore. So, I left. Only time I ever considered running. I hate politics.

Problems initially escalated in our country when Free Trade was being pushed, I think. The Chrétien Administration hosed down protesting Canadians with water in an embarrassing display of total disrespect for the people of this country while the whole world watched. I was furious because I wanted to be there to protest myself so badly, but just didn't find a way there in time. Free Trade allowed for corporate giants to swallow up companies globally, which not only centralized power and wealth but also weakened national power in favor of the globalists. Both the 'Liberals' and 'Conservatives' have pushed Free Trade aggressively to the point where Harper started testing the water by mentioning "There isn't really a Canadian economy anymore, it's a global economy" and stated we needed "the framework for global governance." Of course, our honest and vigilant media completely ignored these very disturbing and historic statements.

I vote for the only party I know not controlled by globalist corruption, the People's Party of Canada. But they are still small and have a long way to go. There are so many low information voters out there, even in these extreme times. I knew the last federal election would go nowhere just seeing every single person there--all of them--wearing masks. I was the only person there, while I was there, who didn't. There were NO mask mandates at that time! Tons of voters and several party representatives, all of them blindly pro-establishment, fearfully hooked into the corporate narrative. What a display.

For these few of us paying attention, it's disheartening to say the least.

It looks like Ontario is abandonning the lock down method of dealing with the virus. No new restrictions, and they reduced isolation time down to 5 days. You also mentioned that they're giving up on PCR tests for the general public. Nothing can stop the omicron wave, and we're allowing it to circulate. I'm back to work on monday, don't know about you!

There's a doctor and nursing shortage because of the way the government sets up our healthcare, and they're not adding any more students in, so our shortage is only getting worse. Now they're sick and burned out, and we're insisting doctors come to work sick, because a sick doc is better than no doc, yeah, that'll help....

Alberta also put the unjabbed on unpaid leave which,surprisingly, exasperated the shortages. Then the geniuses decided to let symptomless covid positive staff work! What about hiring back the ones that already worked through the last 2 years and test everyone?

Multiple provinces considering allowing COVID positive health-care staff to work

Either you go about your lives and damn the consequences or you submit and be damned to whatever consequences they have planned for you. Trust me, that is the last thing anyone would ever want because to them you are disposable.

This goes way, way back.
This plan has been kicking around for over 100 years.
It's only been since the digital age they've been able to dominate the stock market and take over entire economies. Plus they have all the technology needed for surveillance and control. Surprised they waited this long to tell you the truth. I've been waiting for this since Dubya and the PATRIOT ACT. 911 and the government excesses immediately after plainly showed the direction we were going. Maybe they had to work up the nerve to go for the whole enchilada.

This goes beyond insanity. There is no one, at this point, that can't see exactly what is happening, and it has nothing to do with viruses, illnesses, disease, vaccines, or medications.

If they can allow a person that has been vaccinated, that they know is COVID positive, to work. There is absolutely no reason why a person that is unvaccinated, not ill, and with less chance of spreading the disease, than the person they are sure has the disease, should be prevented from working. Not one good reason, what so ever.

This action if punitive, and enacted only to punish the worker for not complying. This action in controlling, tyrannical, evil, and it has to be nipped in the bud.

If we give into this, we might as well kiss the baby goodbye, because there is no coming back from this.

Maybe your wokeness should have started with the first mandates or even try previous to Corona Virus. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day. Big evil government has been chipping away at the people's rights for quite awhile. But that's how it is I guess. Who knew that banning gathering in peoples homes would be the straw that broke the camel's back? Guess they should have started with that one and then we'd see what real pushback is.

I agree. It's going to be hard to make meaningful resistance when so few people have the spine or wisdom to do so, to support us, or to understand us. If I get arrested protesting this Fascism, my own family will care about me of course, but they won't understand. Seems to me intelligent people need to start putting their heads together to come up with solutions.

I find it very fishy about the shortage of PCR tests.The same line about them and lateral flow tests is being told in the UK.
You might even think that western nations are all following the same playbook,cough,cough WEF.

The PCR tests we've been using are expired as of 01/01/2022. Could be the reason why there is a shortage. The CDC is supposed to decide on a new one soon I am assuming, but not sure what date/who they are favoring.

Yes it's been escalating for some time. Many 'rational' Canadians have been misled into following an extreme political perspective by the media and these people are in denial that this is the case. They are impossible to get through to. It's infuriating.

I think we are doomed tbh. Many Canadians want this, they’ve been convinced by constant barrage of fear porn from the msm. I am a member on a Montreal Canadiens hockey board and many of them are pleading for lockdowns and mandates for everyone. I’d say one in every 10 is for freedom and liberty.
