This is one of the worst examples of injustice I've ever heard of.
Yesterday there was a
thread about a deadly 2019 crash in Colorado:
4 were killed when a young Cuban trucker experienced break failure.
1.5 million people expressed their contempt via online petition.
The man, now 26, was handed a
110 year consecutive sentence.
Meanwhile in Canada, also in 2019:
Three
years in prison for Kamloops driver who killed three students in hit-and-run collision
-Reid McKnight was driving at 110km/h (70mph),
more than twice the posted speed limit
-After 5 seconds at that speed he
blew through a stop sign and struck a car of Nigerian students
-Two of the four occupants were killed instantly. A third died ten days later
-The vehicle CPU shows he applied breaks
only 2 tenths of a second before impact
-He then
fled the scene and went home after
failing to report the incident to police
-He was arrested, and later released on just
$500 bail
W T actual F??
An accident earns you more than 4 life sentences in the US, and at the same time
LUDICROUSLY criminal vehicular manslaughter in Moose Country nets a wrist-slap
How connected must this guy be? Was his lawyer a hypnotist?
If this had happened in America, there would be cities burning and it would become global news.
